This is why I always underestimate my calorie burns, and when calorie consumption is questionable I overestimate.

In my opinion, it depends on how much you have to lose. If its lots, then I would say you don't need to eat your exercise calories. I don't bother with them except the days when I want to have an extra treat or something... They are there to help with the program so that it becomes a lifestyle, it teaches you that you can…

I absolutely LOVE Turbo Jam, I would get the one with 3-5 workouts first, I have most, and just ordered the package with Cardio Party and Cardio Party 2 and Lower Body jam, can't wait to try them. My fave right now is the Punch Kick and Jam. LOVE LOVE LOVE My reward is going to be getting Turbo Fire and Chalene Xtreme in…

I weighed early this week as it is Thanksgiving weekend here :) 273.8!!! -3.5 lbs from last week WAAHOO!!!
-
I always tell myself "Give it one more week" then I end up having some better results or feeling better and decide to stick with it.
-
^^ Perfect :) I haven't lost a whole ton this time, but I AM on my way and I HAVE stuck with it for almost a full month. I 100% attribute it to the fact that I have stopped making excuses for myself, and started thinking more positively. I have encountered a few challenges in the last week that would have normally…

Exactly, that makes a lot of sense... I choose not to eat many if any of mine back for now... BUT if its not working for me I will change!

My take on exercise calories is that you *can* eat them back, but you don't need to... If you are already eating your daily allowance then you won't be going into starvation mode. How do you think they lose weight that fast on Biggest Loser, they exercise like crazy and stick to a low calorie diet. Somedays I burn 1000…

Well, I moved out of the city and back to my home-town where I used driving for transportation instead of public transportation, and then I met my husband. We had more expendable income and ended up going out to eat a lot... from there is snowballed. I don't know why I lost the motivation. I think I felt bad about gaining…

Well, I weighed 240, then lost 91lbs and weighed 149, and then slowly over the last 6 years I have gained.... a lot! 277 now, was up to 307. I definately notice a change in how people behave around me. When I was skinny I could "hang" with the guys and they liked to joke with me more. Now they don't really talk to me as…

You haven't been logging very much, and what is logged looks not very diet friendly. Try logging and looking at your sugar/fat/sodium intake and seeing how it looks.
-
You wouldn't starve unless you're eating all thr wrong foods. All calories are not created equal, a diet rich in complex carbs, lean meats, and healthy fats will keep you fuller longer even on lower calories.
-
^^ This, and I also see your calories up around 1800. Ad in some more exercise and try to limit your sugars, fats and sodium.

It's been a challenging week for me, my knee has been a little sensitive, and TOM (time of the month) was here, so haven't been 100%. Thankfully I haven't eated too many of my exercise calories, and I should be feeling better. Anyone else having a hard time coming to terms with how long it takes, and how much work it is to…

I know that my husbands moods affect me big time. I am trying to remember this time the reasons WHY I'm doing this. I want to live longer, I want to be an example for my kids, I want to have more energy, I want to be confident, I want to be more outgoing, and yes I want to look good for hubby too. Usually when he gets…

Pride in myself, and confidence that my weight won't embarass my children as they get older. I want to be a healthy role-model for them. AND a bunch of new clothes will be awesome!
-
277.3 Today, was hoping for more but my TOM was here... Ah well :)

My app tells me how many calories I've burned. I either use the gps part, or put in how fast I ran and walked and it will tell me.

Can you eat more of the things you have then until you can afford to get some healthy foods? Have you tried couponing? Is there a clearance section of your store? Ask!! Some kind of food bank?? You're eating dangerously low amounts, and could end up doing damage, getting burnt out, going into starvation mode etc.

Up your exercise and up your calories a little bit, maybe eat 1/4 of your exercise calories. Also look for High Calorie burn workouts. Drink lots of water Are you strength training? If not, do it. Eat a big breakfast to kick-start your metabolism so you burn more all day.
-
It *can* be done. It would be lots of hard work, and you're going to want to have a really good fitness program to help you. Make sure you don't crash-diet, and keep eating enough calories. I am hoping to lose 100lbs by June 22nd 2012. If I don't make it though I know I'll be on my way for sure. You may want to get a…

Goals for Oct. Lose 10lbs Exercise 5-6 times per week Stay under my cals every day! Drink 3-4 liters of water per day Refuse all bring-home treats from my husband unless its a Banana Beach smoothy from Booster Juice. If I'm going to eat out, its needs to be subway and NOT pizza. Get a crock-pot and make 10 frozen crock pot…

I'm struggling with this too. I'm finding that I push dinner back a little and then try to save a sweet 100cal snack for after dinner that I have after consuming about 3 cups of water... Then I self-talk it out and say "Its all in my head" over and over and make myself go to bed even if I feel hungry... Its getting easier…
-
I had my smoothy for dinner instead of breakfast today... AND I went for a big walk with my kids... it was supposed to be a rest day, but I just couldn't.
-
10 years ago I lost 90lbs and maintained for 4 years... In that time the loose skin did get better with time, and I didn't try strength training or lots of water... This time, when I get down to goal weight, I'm going to give it a few years and some serious weight training and water consumption before I even think about…

Ha ha, I totally did that today. Went for a 73 min walk with my kids, stopped at the park, and came home. THEN I was like I'm gonne deep clean this kitchen, may as well re-organize a few cupboards while I do... and Yes I better turn on that laundry. How bout some music to go with it... Love the exercise high!

I don't always eat back my exercise calories, but its nice to know they are there when I need them. I believe that the purpose of exercise calories is to show you that the harder you work, the more you can enjoy and still lose weight. It gives you a better idea of the value of a calorie. Being able to endulge a little with…

It does feel SO FAR AWAY!! Sometimes I get a little discouraged by it. Especially when I work my butt off and don't get the results on the scale that I like. But then I look at the big picture and celebrate the changes I have made, and know that if I stick with it I will get there. I joined in Feb, but I was pregnant then…

This one, I put into MFP as a recipe and it came to around 250 for the entire thing (minus the choc chips), however, they are big enough you can cut them up in half. You can google other MIAM recipies too, my mom makes a bunch of them.

Well it hit me... and I just made this, it allright, except I used stevia... (shaking head)
