I have been on MFP for 8months and the majority of my weightloss came from logging my food on here and recieving support and inspiration from my pals. The statistics say a person can lose 10% more weight with a GREAt support system. Remember 80% of your new lifstyle of losing weight is NUTRITION. :) Welcom to MFP!!!

I just started training one week ago only up to 4miles right now ...I have time though, but I do know its a HUGE challenge

push ups are great for toning the back muscles plus it works your arms abs and chest. :)

I think you should track for a couple of months. We are creatures of habit and you will eventually just pick the right foods and portion sizes without tracking. Thats how it is for me now. For my last 15lbs I didnt track I just made wise choices and splurged once a week. It really can be done. Good Luck!

Im 5'2 just hit my goal weight but us short ppl have to stick together.... it is challenging being short; 10lbs on us looks like 25lbs...lol

Once a week I give myself a treat and splurge meal. You have to continiously reward yourself....Its no such thing as bad foods but HOW MUCH of foods we eat. A little piece of snickers is not horrible like the snack size the WHOLE snickers on the other hand is TOO much sugar and fat

Im shorter 5'2 and trying to get to my highschool weight of 125. I have 4lbs to go! Ever since I hit my ideal weight my weightloss has tremendously SLOWED down. but we can do it!!!!!!

I normally eat before AND after workouts but not full meals just some protein like a banana apple or a protein bar. but at this point you have to do what works for you

I say it all balances out at the end. I too eat more than I usally do on weekends than during weekdays and I have been still consistently losing weight
