Yum!!

True, you don't know the exact amount, but if you do the same activities regularly, you have a general idea... I just log what I burned last time, and update it after I've done it... It's usually only a few calories difference... But it gives me a starting point on how many calories I have since I work out too late at…

I pre-log food and exercise for the week... I exercise at night, and don't like to eat much after, just a quick protein snack, so I pre-log and eat it earlier in the day... An extra benefit is, since I've already eaten back my calories, I CAN'T not work out without going over my goal, so it insures I don't skip workouts!!…

Sounds yum!! :-D

When I first started, I used a routine wiifit plus (not the games). It gave me a good workout, but eventually got too easy. (took 8 months, though). After that, I switched to games on the kinect... In general, they're "tougher" than the same game on wii. Zumba and biggest loser are good on either system, though.

Last christmas I was 280 lbs, now I'm 174!! :-D

I don't eat all my exercise calories back, I usually eat enough back so I'm somewhere between 1000-1200... Unless I hit a plateau, then I'll eat them back to 1200-1400 for a week or so, and that's usually enough to get it going again. But I also don't work out for hours everyday. If I did, I'd eat back at least up to…

You can add me... My diary is open to my friends... It's not always perfect, but I've lost 100+lbs, so it's been workin... ;-)

That sounds really yum!!

I've been here since march, and it's really made a difference!! Feel free to add me, I'm usually on a good bit...

I LOVE my kinect!! I have kinect adventures, zumba, biggest loser ultimate workout, and fighters uncaged. I do BLUW three times a week, and it's tough... And it has different levels, so you can move it up when it gets too easy... I was doing wiifit plus before, and it got too easy and I hit a plateau. I switched to this,…

My husband is really sportive of me taking control of my health... but since he's a truck driver and doesn't eat junk food on the triad, he trends to over-do it when he's home... It's hard to keep to healthy food when he's eating chips by the bag... I've learned to keep a lot more frit and veggies in the house so I can…

I have The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout, Zumba, Kinect Adventures and Fighters Uncaged.. My favorite is BLUW... I started out doing wiifit plus, and I liked it, but now it's too easy for me. I also have The Biggest Loser on the wii, but I don't like it as much...

It depends on your fitness level... When I first got wiifit, I was very inactive, and I set up a routine (it let's you stack exercises so you don't have that pause between each one), and it really got me up to a more active level!! I lost 100+ lbs, and switched to the biggest loser on the kinect... WAY more intense!! I…

The 1500 from mfp is including your deficit... I would keep it there, dripping down to 1200 may slow your progress...
-
I've done a few of the "learning the moves" tutorials, but mostly I just jumped into it... I'm really uncoordinated, but it's still fun... :-D
-
I don't agree with this... I think everyone had a body type they prefer... I'd rather my husband have some extra weight on him! He doesn't, and I'm okay with it cause I love him and want him to be happy, but he's definitely a lot skinnier than I would like for him to be!! (but I would never, EVER be so mean as to tell him…

I just switched from wiifit (which I love, but is now too easy for me) to biggest loser on the kinect, and I am wore out!! I really enjoyed it, though and the feedback is much better... It gives you a "fitness test" when you first start to see what level you should start at... I also have fighters uncaged and zumba on the…

I've lost 115 in a year... Watching what I eat, exercising 6 days a week (stated at 3 days then worked up to 6)
-
I've always been a confident person, but people are definitely nicer to me since I've lost 100+lbs!! It irritates me more often than not... I guess since I don't judge people based on outside characteristics, I don't like being confronted with the fact that so many people do.. :-(
-
Netflix has a lot of good videos... :-D
-
I noticed this too!! I was a 9.5-10 before I stayed losing weight, and now I wear 8s...
-
When I first started, I could only exercise for 15-20 minutes on wiifit plus, and I worked up from there... Just do what you can, and build up as you can... You'll get there!! :-D
-
Before I lost weight, I would get stress fractures in my feet... They finally healed when I lost some of the weight..
-
I do both, but to begin with I just used wiifit plus and lost over 60lbs... I do strength training now, too... But until I built up to it, all I did was exercise on the wii... :-D
-
I've lost 120+lbs, and in the beginning, I didn't feel like there was a difference... I finally started noticing a difference in how I felt first... Around 25-30lbs... Then I started strength training, and really started to see a difference... I'm not bulky or anything, but I can feel my muscles under all my fat... :-D
-
do you have an xbox? zumba for the kinect is awesome!! :-D

I'm always here for anyone that needs encouragement... :-D
