  • The thing to bare in mind here is that when you enter your goals into MFP, it already sets you at a calorie deficit which will give you the weekly loss you have selected without exercise. So, if you think about it, if you then exercise and burn off calories but don't eat them back, you are creating a much larger calorie…
  • I've actually read research that disproves this theory. You may still lose weight only eating one 1500cal meal per day but it will be a great deal slower than if your eating at regular intervals throughout the day.
  • Nooooo it doesn't! 40lbs in 26 weeks is class, especially considering you weighed less than me at the start! You're doing really well!
  • Really though? Sounds like a really long list of excuses to me! Moral of the story: Eat the fruit and veg before it rots. Ta-da! It's not rocket science.
  • Totally gobsmacked by your diary. Yes, you are too skinny and yes, your eating habits are very worrying. Swallow your pride and go to see a doctor NOW. You cant live on a few slices of bread and dairylea triangles every day....and no amount of vitamin supplement will make up for it! Sorry, but you need help straight away.
  • I agree with Em chuck, you aren't eating enough and probs are sending your body into starvation mode. Which will mean your weight loss will eventually slow down or even stop. I dont always eat all of my exercise cals back but I do always try to make sure I'm hitting as close to my daily cal goal as possible after exercise,…
  • This one does hun :)
  • ah cool, thank you :)
  • Do they work as an hrm when you wear it as a watch? Just wandering if I'd have to wear the chest strap on my walks etc. too xxx
  • it says under the product "online Only Pice" so I guess that means, it'll stay that price? xxx
  • ah cool! Haven't got mine yet so was just wandering, does it only work as an hrm when attached to the chest strap? Im very concerned the chest strap wont fit around my bazongas and my back fat lol x
  • I dont think it's a case of tending to pig out through the day, I think it's a case of skipping meals and therefore slowing your metabolism, making it much more difficult to lose weight. As a recovering eating disorder sufferer, it blows my mind to see people on here encourage others to fast. I'm sorry, but no-one will…
  • To an extent, I am of a similar mindset. I can quite easily go without breakfast and not even thin twice about it. However, I make a point of having breakfast nowadays as to me, it's just keeping my metabolism ticking over, if nothing else. I usually only have a yoghurt or some fruit but I think even that's better than…
  • hahahaha, good, innit?
  • You know what?Being the fattest person isn't something you should be stressing about. If you were in denial and oblivious to the fact something needs to be done, then I'd say you have issues. But the fact is you're here and doing something about it. That's what's important. For that, you should be very proud! xxx
  • I should clarify, I meant using fat free yoghurt instead of milk on the weetabix. You can also swirl a teaspoon of clear honey on top of the yoghurt weetabix too, that is also scrummy :)
  • You could try something like oats or weetabix? They get a bit boring after a while but I've found some low fat or fat free yoghurt on weetabix with some mixed berries sprinkled on top is lovely. I also love the breakfast yoghurts some supermarkets sell which are yoghurts with oats in or yoghurt with granola to sprinkle on…
  • I have tried many diet pils in the past, some which aren't even legal and I have to say, as a general rule, I think much of the effect of these so called weight loss pills are placebo, i.e. you tell yourself they are making a difference and therefore they do! But when you think about it, either way, you have to change up…
  • Oh, and just as a footnote, I lost all of my weight by effectively starving myself, When I eventually started to eat normally again, I piled on everything I'd lost plus an extra 4 stone as I'd just totally destroyed my metabolism. I would say your weight is perfect for your height and if you are still wanting to tone up,…
  • Sweetheart please, go and see a doc asap. Im a recovering eating disorder sufferer myself and to me, your goal is extremely unhealthy. You are working out A LOT and wanting to drop from the healthy to underweight category is quite worrying. I hope you don't feel like we're all ganging up on you. It's just...well, I…

  • Im on an android phone a swear by jogtracker...excellent for tracking distance, pace, cals burned etc. when out walking/jogging/cycling etc. and uses GPS to track you so pretty accurate too x
  • Ah god that's awful! Soul destroying too, isnt it? I went away with the hubs family last year and was covered head to foot in midge bites, to which I was allergic and broke out so it looked like I had chicken pox. I was really sore and itchy and when I told a certain family member, his response was "Well none of the rest…
  • I clean daily obv (I have two kids under seven, a hubs who thinks he's 7 and a black lab. Really, I have no choice lol) and I cant see the point in logging those cals. My activity level is set to "lightly active" as I spend most days running about being a mam so I only log cals burned cleaning when Im doing the more…
