  • Day 1 - 371 calories burned (Elliptical + Weight training) Day 2 - 530 calories burned (Elliptical) Total: 901 Left: 2599 Monday's and Tuesday's are my big calorie burn days (Roller Derby practice) so I should still be good to go for the week as long as I do enough on the other days :) I usually burn around 700 - 800 cals…
  • Lol nice one :)
  • Not sure what that means about me lol :)
  • Spank :). These threads are hysterical!!!
  • Thanks! You too!
  • Age 32 Female Height 5'4 1/2 HW 205 (right before baby #1) LW 128 (for like one day LOL) CW 155.8 GW Between 135 and 140 somewhere I maintained in the 135 to 140 range for a good two years and then got preggo with my second child. Went almost all the way back up to first baby poundage (199 right before), then lost most of…
  • August 1st - 2.80 miles (Elliptical) 27.2 miles to go!
  • Hi everyone! I'm Nicole, 32 y/o mother of 2. I am also a roller derby girl (Mia, really excited to see someone else on here who plays!!! Friend request already sent!) and get at least 4 hours a week of AMAZING fun exercise from practices a week. I've also just joined a gym in my area so I have been doing the elliptical,…

  • Portion sizes! Guestimating = bad :( And yeah, a teaspoon is ridiculous. Pretty sure I am still using more of the non dairy creamer then I say I am on MFP but hoping that doesn't screw me too bad. I always ate twice the portion of cereal as well, and you should see the size of the bowls my husband eats! Holy crap!
  • I'm in, and a newbie :) Going to try 35 miles - elliptical, swimming, stationary bike
  • Count me in! Sounds fun :) I've already burned 2315 this week and 3500 was kind of my goal anyway!
  • Same here! Need to lose almost exactly 20 pounds, but will be happy with 15. My happy weight is 135 but 140 is still okay where all my clothes fit well :) Anyone who wants to can feel free to add me! Just joined a gym too so I need some accountability to make sure I go!
  • I ventured into the free weight area for the first time this morning at the gym. It is kinda scary, mostly because I don't want to look like an idiot who can't figure out what to do :) Then again I haven't worked out at a gym in 10+ years and just started last week. Oddly this thread has been very enlightening as far as…
  • This is also a perfect fit for me :) I was thinking that Halloween would be my "drop dead" date for losing the rest of the baby weight :) I think I have about 30 pounds to lose still. Last time I weighed in I was at 166. Of course I have been doing absolutely HORRIBLE the last week or two...so I've probably gained :( Hope…
  • I'm in the thunder thigh category as well!!! Definitely a pear. My hips/butt/thighs are the LAST things to go for me! Although for the most part I am evenly distributed. Used to have the problem of the gap waist in the pants...but since having two kids I've evened out in that area! I still have a smaller waist then…
  • Here here on this topic!!!! I was diagnosed with IBS (i think I have IBS-C because I am constipated a lot more often) when I was 18. I am now 30. It has been a rough ride thats for sure :( I have definitely noticed though that when I eat healthy the symptoms tend to be a lot better overall. I know (for the most part) my…
  • I just spent nine months not drinking and don't really feel like depriving myself any more LOL! Of course I keep it down to once a week or less. I don't think it affects me that much. I am careful not to pig out when I drink though...i figure as long as I keep my food inibitions in check while drinking I will be fine. And…
  • LOVE your tats!! I can't wait to get another one :) But I think that will be a congrats for losing the baby weight (again...) present for myself!! And you look amazing! At your smallest and right now too actually!!
  • I logged in and counted everything. Didn't meet my water goals and I was too far under my calorie goal, but at least only by a 190 or so. Does hauling around a 9 1/2 pound baby everywhere count as arm work LOL!
  • Still room to join? I didn't catch this thread until earlier today and then didn't have a chance to post because I have a 5 week old and a 5 year old to contend with!!! My goals: 1. Log everyday 2. Stay at or around 1200 calories a day (I have been actually having a hard time getting to 1200 calories right now, but that is…
  • Bachooka - thanks! my 5 year old LOVES to dance, so I am fairly certain she will have a blast. She has got musical theater written all over her! She sings and dances and does gymnastics in the house all day long! I found it for a good price on amazon.com. Think I should just mosy on over there and order it right now!!
  • I've been wanting to look these up too! Glad for the suggestions :) Though I wish they had more of them streaming :( I did take the suggestion of adding them to the instant queue online instead of through the game console. Now I just need the time and motivaton to get to them!! Also I don't like doing them in front of my…
  • Right now I'm having a hard time exercising because of my 5 week olds crazy schedule. I really like working out with my husband but since the baby always wants to be held it isn't really happening becuase we tend to motivate each other... I did go skating once last week but it seems like the time keeps getting away from me…
  • I am not a SAHM for the long haul but I am during my maternity leave :) I set mine as sedentary in anticipation of when I go back to work (I am a software engineer so I really do sit on my butt most of the time!) However...I think that what some of the PP's said is a good idea, to log some of the daily activities as…
  • I need to get better about couponing! I know it can be a huge help. I will check out that site! My husband keeps complaining about how much we are spending on food since I started this diet, but I keep telling him that it is worth it. We spend a lot more going out to eat (which lamentabley we still do! But it is mostly…
  • Healthy fats are necessary for bodily funcitons (including brain function) so it would be a good idea not to go too low. Though as long as you are getting some you should be all right. I don't know if it hinders weight loss, but I do know that it is important!!!
  • Here is my first success story :) Before I got pregnant again!!! Hoping for the same results the second time around!! Before (I'm drunk and making a wierd face but it was the best picture I could find...) After Now... Ignore the bags under my eyes...new baby you know :)
