Way to go! I can definitely see a difference especially in the hip and thigh area! :) I'm 25lbs down too, and I know it wasn't easy getting to this point. Congrats on a job well done, and here's to another 25! :)

I started my exercise habit with her 30DS and Banish Fat Boost Metabolism workouts...and although she kicked my butt most of the time, I loved it. :) Do take it easy in the first few days if you're just starting out... some moves can be quite tedious for beginners. For the 30DS and Ripped in 30, you will need light weights…

yup I do that too, but only count Sundays as my 'official weigh-in day'. :)

Hey fellow 'Insane' people! :) I'm on my first round of Insanity, into the 3rd week now. The workouts are challenging, to say the least, but I can feel my body changing and adapting each day! For those who have done Insanity before, how do you find the 2nd phase of the programme? I don't consider myself to be an 'advanced'…

Thanks for extending the challenge to another month, Jenn! Will try my best to complete each weekly challenge! :D 1. Invite someone to work out with you. -Convinced my sister to join me for my 2nd Insanity Fit Test yesterday, and in return she taught me a new dance routine she learned from her gym cardio dance class! :) 2.…

Mainly my lower body...my hips, thighs and calves. My upper body took longer and more weight training but I'm finally beginning to see some definition! can't wait to get rid of the extra flab in my arms and be able to wear sleeveless tops!

Hey fellow Spartans!! Thanks for posting the challenges, Kate. I tried out the ab challenges, and the side jackknife crunch was intense! Felt it burning all the way through my obliques, sides and back. Did about 2 sets x 20 repetitions on each side. The reverse ab crunch was hardcore too...10 reps in and I could feel my…

I can definitely see a difference! Congrats on your tremendous willpower to get rid of the evil lying scale...and thanks for proving to the rest of us (who have been made slave to the evil lying scale) that this journey is not all about the lbs. :) Keep it up!

thanks for sharing! :) will give it a try! I'm now halfway into the 2nd week, and it's still not getting any easier. But everyday, I'm seeing little changes in my body, like my thighs getting shapelier, my arms toning up and my overall strength improving. Still groan at the sight of those Globe Jumps and Drills but I think…

Hey everyone! :) It's nearing the end of the day where I live, but I'll try to get in at least 2 more cups of water! Had a pretty crazy day and kept putting off my Insanity workout. Finally pushed myself to do it and now I'm sore, but glad that I won't have to live with the regret of skipping a workout. *phew* Looking…

definitely new running shoes, a HRM and (in my dreams) a treadmill! :D but the best gift in my opinion would be to be able to fit into size 14's or 12's! :)

Awesome NSV's guys! Today after a gruelling session of Insanity, I absent-mindedly put my hands on my thighs and could actually feel that they were shapelier. That made the workout all the more worthwhile. :)

Hello mighty Spartans! :) I would like to join too! Name: Mabel Goal: To complete Insanity AND kick butt at the 2nd fit test! I wear mine when I'm exercising, and it's a pain! Especially in the middle of high impact exercise like Insanity when my glasses literally hit the floor, ironically during a move called 'Hit the Floor'. I also wear contact lenses occasionally, but sweat tends to roll down into my eyes, making it uncomfortable for lens…

congrats on your loss! :D and the 5K's! *salute*

I usually have cereal like Special K or Nestle Fitnesse for breakfast with low fat milk, amounting to about 200 calories. If I need an extra boost for the day I'll add in a piece of fruit, bringing it up to 300 calories. Some people adopt the 'inverted pyramid' calorie system, where you eat the most calories during…

WOW I'm blown away! Your transformation is simply incredible and so awe-inspiring...thanks for sharing your story with us! Congrats! :)

I recently managed to fit into size 16 jeans at about 193lbs. I'm 5'6" and have a relatively proportionate body (or at least I think so) and can fit into size 14-16 tops. I think it also depends on how your body distributes the weight. The dress is adorable! And since you have a pear shaped body and the dress has a flair…

can't believe we're into the final week of October already! Last week wasn't too great for me, I think I only managed to get in about 3-4 miles tops of walking/jogging. Did the squats and plank exercises a few times, and didn't stay in the green zone for mainly carbs and sodium. :( Wasn't very proud of my food choices…
