Here's mine - it took me about 6 months to lose 20kg/44lbs in 2011. Fell off the wagon a bit in the past two years, but still maintaining the same weight till now! My strategy: Cut out all simple carbs & limit dinner calories. Also completed 30 Day Shred & a month of Insanity! Still not at my ideal body yet, am working…

Didn't complete it the first round, giving it another shot this time! Just finished Plyometric Cardio Circuit and it kicked my butt quite literally. Hang in there, everyone! It gets better (I hope).

Me me me! I'd love to do this again - started my weight loss journey with it in 2011, and Jillian has inspired me tremendously. No better way than to get back on track with 30DS. Just completed the Level 1 workout. It hurts SO GOOD. Let's rock this month!

1. looking in the mirror and seeing some definition in my waist, jaw & shoulders! (those mythical collarbones do exist!) 2. knowing that I'm in control of my food choices 3. CONFIDENCE to do more, accomplish more, live more! 4. shopping is no longer a chore but a delight! 5. I'm the smallest that I've been since I was 12!

Up till now, I've lost a total of 35lbs. I lost the first 8lbs during a stressful semester at college, and after realising that I had lost the weight, I was determined not to put it back on! I found MFP through my Android phone and became active in the community in August last year. Before this, I've tried losing weight…

My initial goal weight was 65kg (145lb), but I switched it to 70kg (154lbs) after consideration and some input from this site http://www.bmi-calculator.net/body-fat-calculator/body-fat-chart.php Not sure how accurate it is, but according to the calculations, I would be at a dangerously low body fat percentage at 145lb.

Yes I definitely felt that way...the scale was showing a difference but I just couldn't see a difference in my body. I felt better physically but I'd convinced myself mentally that I'm still that same obese person even after losing 30lbs. But then I dug out some old clothes in my old size (UK20) and they started falling…

Thanks for the helpful tips! I'm a student with a limited allowance, and when I started my journey, one of my goals was to prove to my sister that I didn't need an expensive gym membership to lose weight. I substituted the elliptical and treadmill with outdoor running with my dog, scouted around for discount workout DVD's,…

For me, the most noticeable was in my lower body area especially my hips, thighs and calves. About 15lbs in, my jeans were loose and I had to use belts to hoist them up. But only when I hit 20lbs did I begin to see changes in my stomach and upper body area. Still need to work on those areas but I'm getting there. The best…

Yup there's no harm in taking a break...in fact it will give your body the rest it needs to heal and repair muscles. I took a couple days off the 30DS when I caught the flu bug, and got back on track after that. If you really want to maintain the daily schedule, you can consider repeating the level or week. :)

oops double post. :)

my meals vary alot during the week, but here's what a typical day looks like. Breakfast : Cereal! Either Cheerios, Fitnesse or Special K with low fat milk + the occasional banana. Lunch : Meatloaf sandwich on whole wheat with lettuce and cheese. On other days I have chicken breast with potatoes, asparagus, broccoli or…

1. Complete my studies and get a degree! 2. Hit my goal weight within the first half of the year. 3. Run a 5k I usually don't manage to keep my 'new year' resolutions, but this time I set some fairly realistic ones that I'm already working on, will continue to work towards, and eventually reach the goal! :)
