Basically. Sometimes, it's just being up and ready when you don't want to be! That said, sometimes I get a similar sensation, but it's usually the day after a 5:2 fast day. It goes away too, but mostly I just push through it, thinking I'm going to feel nauseous anyway, I might as well do the workout anyway. Try having a…

I decide on Sunday what days I am going to the gym and what I am going to do. It depends on my work schedule, I try to average 4 x a week, but some weeks I can only do 3 but some weeks I will do 6. Then I treat those gym mornings like important meetings - there's not getting out of it, I *have* to be there, it's…

I like North Atlantic salmon, but only when I'm in the UK. So much more on offer in Australia, basically live on other fish. Red snapper and blue manna mud crabs in Western Australia... Cannot wait to go back, that's the first thing I'm eating!!

You have to force yourself to build the habit (it takes about 3 weeks to build a routine, so stick with it) I dont like GETTING up early, but I like BEING up early. I hate going to the gym in the evenings...too damn busy. The trick to morning workouts is to have all your stuff ready to go, so you can roll out of bed, into…

Girl, no your thunder thighs are keeping you up! Kidding. Card carrying member of the pear shaped committee here...I found I got a lot happier when I started using them instead of fighting against them. Spinning basically saved my life... has made them streamlined and toned and strong and made my butt the perkiest it's…

Always morning for me. The gym is quieter, I get it out the way, I have a routine, clear my head before work. Once I realised that I like BEING up early but I dont like GETTING up early, it was easier to build the habit ha. Plus I can get done everything I need to get done, without having to wait for some bam to stop…

Overnight oats or a fruit salad (prep both the night before)

I take about 700g a day, but usually I don't take it the week after my period, purely to give my body a break/also it's really expensive where I am! It helps me no end with sleep, especially at that time of the month. I haven't noticed it's helped with cramps, but losing weight and giving up most of dairy has really…

I spin for about 60 minutes 4 x a week. In terms of my toning...well my butt!...Well it's perky in a way that squats and donkey kicks and lunges never made it! I havent noticed that it's toned me anywhere else, but I also row for 30 mins 4 x a week, so that pretty much has sorted my core, arms and back.

Mornings for me. It's way quieter, I get it out the way, it sets me up for the day and it helps me with my general sleep schedule. I HATE how busy the gym is after work and mostly I just want to go home and not be surrounded by sweaty people. If you decide to go with mornings, you need to commit to it. Takes 3 weeks to…

I'm a fan of the 80/10/10 split between macros... BUT..I mix it in with the "Starch Solution" diet (love cooked potatoes and pasta you can pry them out of my cold dead hands), rather than the full raw thing that's not for me. I don't eat just 80% raw food, or reduce my grains. I'm probably only about 40% raw foods and 40%…

Just find what works for you. I'm a card carrying member of the pear shaped club, 5ft 5 and 119lbs. I eat a very carb heavy diet and my split is usually 80% carbs, 10% fats, 10% protein, some days it's more carbs and less protein or fat. I tried low carb once, it was hell for me and I cannot wrap my head around high fat…

Holla! I dont know why vasectomy is not touted as a reliable form of birth control when you're in a stable relationship. My husband, at 24, had to go to FOUR different doctors (two in Aus, two in the UK) to refer him on for the snip, as they thought he was too young and would change his mind!...WHAT.

I never actually FEEL hungry after a work out until around mid-afternoon (I usually work out from 6.30 - 8am, then off to work). I dont really mind to be honest. If I dont have a hectic day or just a day answering emails or doing the boring bits of my job, I just leave it til the afternoon. It works really well for 5:2…

I switched to spinning as my preferred cardio late last year....and now I'm hooked. Main thing is to make sure your bike is set up properly. You shouldn't feel any strain on your back or your butt or your arms (unless doing waves and jumps). One of the perks for me has been literal...a perky bum. My butt has never looked…

Rather than ginger ale, I'd get some fresh root ginger and stick it in fresh boiled water. Seconded popsicles. When feeling better, try some half toasted, dry bread (mmm...tasty)

You'll be fine in Indo! LOADS of fresh fruit to keep you going, not too many dessert things (mainly fried stuff...once you've tasted one, you've tasted them all), noodles and rice and fresh dishes. When I was backpacking, I'd get fresh fruit/juice from street vendors which would keep me going most of the day, with maybe…

Roasted chickpeas. So good.

QFT. Also, I have eaten 10, sometimes more, bananas in a day on a good few occasions when I've either been super busy with a long day at work event managing and dont have time for sandwiches or proper lunch or when I've been road tripping and do not want roadhouse fried crapola en route. I felt great and funnily enough…

I do. I find that smashing a good cardio workout first thing in the morning actually helps the fast day. I don't feel hungry for a good 4 hours after working hard on spin bikes.

^^^^ Good for you getting out and about and taking the stairs. If you feel self conscious, just give yer heid a wipe down in the loo's.

Former moon faced gal over here! What age are you? I swear it's only in the last 2 years since turning 26 that I have any discernible bone structure in my face. I look back on photos from before then and my face was just a bit...squishy looking...whatever weight I was. Also - this bad boy is completely awesome…

Thumbs up, pal. At the height of my self-loathing, I once threw a pair of scales down the stairs and it was so cathartic... Since then, I got a grip and bought a new set recently to keep me maintaining properly.. I got this great set that measure your BF% and Hydrations %. Now, I know for a fact that it is probably…

Pear shaped lass for life! It's the "on trend" body shape these days...*rolls eyes*. For me, once I accepted that I'm always going to have a proportionately big butt and that my thighs will never go straight up and down, I've enjoyed exercise a lot more. I've taken to spinning 4 or 5 times a week and honestly...my legs…

This! Just dont drown them in oil, but a little fat sprayed on them is good. You can get powdered roast garlic, stick a bit of that one them. Hoenstly, it will totally revolutionize your veggie habits! Also, try making a slow simmered minestrone or provencal soup. Stick a dollop of good tomato pesto in there and some…

It's working for me. 5:2 helped me break a 10 year cycle of EDNOS, whilst reducing my body fat percentage but keeping my muscle mass, without being all over the place. Now I'm just trying to lose my last 7 vanity lbs, it's coming off between 0.5 - 1lb a week. Couldn't be happier. The fast days I find fairly easy - I find…

It's slap bang half way between my work and my home It's generally quiet between 6-8.30am I dont have a contract, I can cancel any time It's cheap! But still has MYRIDE spin bikes.

Dairy definitely makes me break out. Fatty foods (hot chips, pastry, pie etc) all give me bad skin. I have 3 pimples that appear in pretty much the exact same place if I have croissants and chips/fries within a few days of each other. *shurgs* another reason for me to not eat them.

I read that article too - think it said the same for PECOS too?

Same. You can try and prise it out of my cold, dead hands
