Great idea - I would love to join you and give up all alcohol beverages for the rest of this year. Start following my brother's diabetes diet. He has lost 10 pounds since diagnosed - 4 weeks ago. Walk minimum 3 times this week for 3.5 miles each time.

Going to be 66 next Saturday and have 40 lbs to lose.Just started this program Sunday. Don't know if I am too old, but going to give it a try. I am doing a low carb - 1200 net calorie program.
