  • TIM HORTON'S. I need those donuts and that double-double and those Timbits, like, you don't even know. Once a month, of course ;)
  • I usually get unsweetened almond milk and the Natvia chocolate drinking powder with instant coffee for a 50 calorie iced mocha. *edited for grammatical error, lol.
  • THANK YOU!! This girl speaks the truth.
  • I wasn't looking at fatspo, I was looking at fitspo but stumbled across some fatspo blogs. I'm sorry about what happened with your doctor, and it's understandable that you want to change after that, but they were talking about changing for things like a doctor telling them they were diabetic and that their weight was a key…
  • Medical. My bad.
  • If you're looking for SJWs (who, when they describe themselves, sound like a biology textbook) then Tumblr is the place to go. It really saddens me to think that people think like that.
  • It's their fault for choosing such bad jobs in the first place. They don't *have* to work there. There is welfare.
  • That's fine. Loving yourself is important. But it is not okay to sit around being fat and not working for change because you "love yourself"
  • Unfortunately, yes. Just google it. Awful blog.
  • Say, have you ever heard of This is Thin Privilege? Also, that was rude and uncalled for - I worked my *kitten* off getting into university. Medicine is one of the most competitive courses to get into. I am studying to be a doctor. I never said there was anything wrong with loving yourself, but so many HAES people believe…
  • If they are bashing thin people and saying that they "love their beautiful fat bodies" then it's glorifying obesity. Case closed.
  • Yes, but many of them aren't doing as well as they think they are. Nobody was destined to be 300 lbs.
  • That's fair, and back in Toronto we get to practise actually being "doctors" and sitting in on/helping out with people's appointments. I've seen a few overweight people in the past few months who are fit and healthy. But the majority aren't. I've even seen a few who support fat acceptance, which in itself isn't a bad…
  • Yes, but as a medicine student, I know what I'm talking about. They're usually kidding themselves. It puts so much strain on their organs and is extremely damaging to their joints. Yet they claim to be healthy.
  • My worst binge ever was when I was in Australia. I was staying with some Australian friends who weren't "dieting" (for lack of a better word). Anyway, it ended up being like... 10 Clix biscuits with Iced Magic on top 2 handfuls of Magan's cracker mix 2 bowls of Cheerios with almond milk 1 iced chocolate (with whip cream…
  • No. I believe that you can get addicted to the substances in food (sugar, HFCS, MSG, etc) but not the food itself. It's like people who bake marijuana brownies - they're addicted to the marijuana, not the brownies. Same thing with food.
  • Toronto here. Great to see so many Canucks!
  • Ah, peanut butter... I used to love the Kraft one when I was 11-12, now I eat one made out of just plain peanuts and salt. Kraft tastes like **** now.
  • I second that.

  • I just have a cup of Cheerios and 3/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk, ends up being 130 calories. Yum.
  • I'm voting for Alexander Ludwig - https://www.google.ca/search?q=alexander+ludwig&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=2F8eU-LaCIaVkQXd64GIDQ&sqi=2&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1366&bih=667
  • Tim Horton's is life, ravioli is life, poutine is life, beer is life. You, sir, have style.
  • Oh man, where do I start? It was last year... three Tim Horton's donuts, followed by a packet of M&Ms, four poptarts, and a whole medium Margherita pizza. Then Ben and Jerry's on red velvet waffles. That's 5781 calories - OUCH.
  • Coffee in Australia was pretty good. Nice coffee, nice baristas and good atmosphere.
  • I used to put heaps of it on toast with butter, wait for it to melt, then eat it.... Little did I know that I was using two servings per piece of bread at 500 calories each! Including the bread, Wonder White, which is 181 calories, 500 x 4 = 2000 + 181 = 2181. Yikes. To think that I used to do this almost every day! I was…
  • I do, and it seems that it's more of a status thing to get Starbucks. I hate the coffee, which is why I work here. I won't be tempted to drink stuff I hate. We are more busy than Tim's during rush hour but they get more customers during the day - should have clarified that. Sbux is pretty empty after 9, save lunch hour.
  • I'm in Toronto and Starbucks is the unpopular one. For a good reason, too.
  • So how many cals is that per cookie?
