My mom kept dying playing Smurfs with my brother so she stopped playing video games with us. When I brought my PS3 to the parents house and showed her Dragon Age: Inquisition she was amazed at how far they have come.

I would watch Mythbusters if your into that.

I've been setting up my new laptop for the past few days. I didn't realize how many accounts/programs I have. :#

My cats are on a restricted diet because my Ragdoll mix has food allergies and IBD. So to reduce any flareups they all get the same food. My dog gets a grain free Lamb and Rice dry food. Plus he gets what ever I'm eating that day. Tonight it was chicken, zucchini, yellow squash, and asparagus. He did eat the asparagus that…

I've been able to travel more is really fun but something else happened that's exciting. I bought my first house and paid off all of my student loans.

I've been making my own version of Egg McMuffin. I scrambled 2 eggs and add paprika, cumin, and some canned roasted green chilies. Then I cooked the eggs like a omelet. Once they were cooled, they were cut up to fit on the English Muffin and cheese was added. I wrap it up and put it in my lunch box for breakfast tomorrow.…

I'm an Engineer at an open pit mine. It's not a boys club anymore.

I had a warm Banana and pecan bowl. I found the recipe on Pinterest. It wasn't to bad but if I want to make it again I need to go grocery shopping.

This is why I won't get into MMOs. I can cuss since I work in the Mining industry but the last thing needed in my life is more stress.

I'm playing Dragon Age Inquisition again. I like the idea that I can change my history and play through again. I have Destiny, Witcher 3, and Final Fantasy 15 on my list to play next. I'm looking forward to Kingdom Hearts 3. I also want them to re-release Final Fantasy 13 series for the PS4.

I've never had the ultrasound but I doubt I have Hashi's. I don't have any swelling or hoarse voice that would be suggest my thyroid is under attack.
-
I had my antibodies tested and there wasn't anything that showed that I had Hashi's. Hashi's doesn't run in my family but other autoimmune disease do and some of them are rather nasty. Many drs consider Hashi's, Fibromaylgia, Lupus, MS, and other autoimmune disease in the same family even if they don't damage the same…

Lindsey- It was regular Hypothyroid not Hashi's. I was tested for Hashi's because of family history but I was negative. I still have a 6 week wait before I can do the blood tests needed to find out what is wrong. The new dr needs to make sure that the extra hormones are out of my system and everything has equalizes before…

I think the new doctor I have is quite passionate about this. He was PISSED when he was reading my tests and looking at my medication. I don't think I've seen a doctor act like that before. When I told him about my first doctor closing shop because she wasn't making a living with the insurance payments my new doctor acted…

You can also try Myso-Inositol Powder. It is suppose to help with cellular health and metabolism. I've just started it so I can't say if it will help you but it has helped a friend of mine that has hypothyroid.

I'm not much for cosplay but I love to sew. If I ever get the house I put a bid on; I would have a dedicated sewing/craft room. I even inherited my grandmothers treadle sewing machine.

The good news is that I got the job as long as I pass my physical and drug test. So now I'm looking for a doctor in Las Vegas, St George UT, or Salt Lake City UT. If anyone has recommendations send them my way.

I finally got a letter from my doctor telling me where to get my records. That's one issue down. The second one is a new doctor. I hope I will be getting a job I have interviewed for near Las Vegas. there should be a good doctor or two there that I can work with. I know that the isn't a cure for Hypothyroid but I was…

My favorite is Ghost in the Shell. That is what started it for me. I love Attack on Titan, Trigun, Hellsing, and Claymore. I have a Roku so I've been watching anime on Crunchy Roll but that interface is hard to get around. Hulu does have some good anime as well but again it's not always easy to find it.

If I want serious/historical its "Guns, Germs. and Steel: The Fate of Human Societies". If I want something relaxing its "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy".

A Fitbit, heart rate monitor, or food scale would be the best bet if you don't have any those.

A friend of mine with POCS and Hypothyroid recommend the inosital powder. She is following a strict mail order diet and without the powder she looses on average 0.5 lbs. With the powder she looses between 2-3 lbs regularly. I'm trying it right now and it seems like its helping but I am also just starting out. We both get…

Instead of tilapia try salmon or orange roughy. You can also have a pouch of tuna fish with a half of a large avacado plus seasoning in lettuce wraps. In fact herbs are a calorie free way to add more flavor. You can use salt but try to keep it to a minimum because it can cause you to retain water.

I have three. Kala my black main coon mix that came with Rocket who is a black and white DSH. Then my third cat Ice the Ragdoll mix found me and parked his butt outside my house for 2 months before I allowed him to come in.

I'm reading Eat Right 4 Your Type. It talks about the correct diet based off of your blood type. It was recommended to me by my dr to help me lose weight. It gets into a lot of the science behind the theory.
