It is interesting how we all carry our weight differently. I'm 5'10" and currently wearing a 12/14. I've never really been smaller than a 10 in jeans, even when I weighed 138 (lowest adult weight ever - yay breastfeeding!). I was a 10 when I weighed 155, too. I did the wrist test and according to that, I'm small boned but…

I'll be 39 soon, too! Your before pics are very similar to mine. I'm getting back on the wagon after gaining back the 30 lbs I previously lost using MFP. I'm very disappointed in myself but I'm determined. We can do this!!!

You look amazing - so fit and trim! Looking at your pics makes me wanna get out of this chair and move! Nice job!!!

You look fantastic and you looked great before, too! I also love that you took your progress pics in the same pose - I wish I had thought of that! You're inspirational!

Yep, I knew I was eating too much but I didn't realize that I was eating WAY too much. Like two heaping plates of spaghetti or an entire box of Red Vines. Portion control has been a huge challenge but it's become easier. I have also looked for "less of two evils" like, instead of eating a bag of Skittles (which I still do…

Thank you - you're so sweet!

Thank you! Using the MFP website and app have helped me so much! Before, I was unaware of how many calories I was actually consuming and I was terrible at portion control. I started out at 1200 calories per day but it was pretty hard to stay within that so I bumped up my calorie goal to 1400-1500 calories a day. I have…

You look so good!!! What a perfect example of why the number on the scale doesn't tell the whole story! Keep doing what you're doing - you're looking fantastic!

Thank you - your kind words will help motivate me when I feel like giving up and going back to my old ways...giant bag of Jelly Belly's for a snack? I'm believe everything in moderation but I do miss eating the whole bag sometimes!

Thank you, so sweet! Seriously, only like four people have said anything! My family knows since they know I'm working on it but other than that - hardly a peep! The first person to notice? My boss! Of all people. I suppose it's more important that I feel good about myself rather than being concerned with what other people…

LOL! You made my morning with "Ermahgerd"! It reminds me of how I laughed and laughed at that "Ermahgerd Kerrerts" meme with the bunny rabbit. Thanks!

Thank you all for your kind and encouraging words. I love that we're all in this together! the Success Stories board is my favorite because I am so inspired by seeing everyone's success!

You all look wonderful - way to go! I'm continually inspired by everyone here! I'm going to try to post a pic for the first time, hope it works! About me - I'm nearly 5'10" - 35 years old, mom of two teens. I started at 180 and I'm currently 155 with about 10 lbs to go to my UGW. This is me yesterday:

Looking even more gorgeous! Love your positive, level-headed point of view, too!

Looking good! Great job!

I'm nearly 5'10" and currently weight 155. Size 10's are super tight on me but most of my 12's are getting too big. I hate being in between sizes! I have never been smaller than a 9/10 as an adult and never smaller than an 8 since I was in elementary school, maybe? I can't even imagine comfortably squeezing into anything…

You're an inspiration to me! You looked great before and now you look super fit and toned - I wanna be like that ( I need to put the work in) Great job!!!
-
You look fantastic! And 25 lbs is a significant amount of weight - I'm at 24 lbs lost and while it hasn't been the easiest thing, it's made me feel great! Also, you look stunning in both pics!
-
You look wonderful! Congratulations on being motivated, you should be very proud of yourself!

Looking good, I can tell! And I think that if you were wearing a more form-fitting shirt it would be even more noticeable! keep up the awesomeness!
