Go see a doctor, give them the whole scenario including that you already tried a laxative. There are other things that they might suggest.

Agree with the previous poster, I would want more veggies and less starches.

Ephedra was banned because people were dying, it was linked to 155 deaths, it wasn't because it was too effective. Bitter orange has the same cardiac side effects as ephedra.

I used to go to Snap fitness. It was okay but the selection of stuff was pretty limited. The PT session was pretty worthless since it was sort of an evaluation of my fitness and then a pitch for more PT sessions. Once the deals were up it was around $28-30 a month. We have a planet fitness now that has the same stuff but…

You are right, it was a guess based on a diet full of fruit. This is part of the reason that she should talk to her doctor.

I second fuzzy shoes. I brought in an old pair of fleece slippers into work, so glad that I did.

My hands and feet are cold all the time. It is 73F in the office and I am wearing a sweat shirt. The only time I am really hot is if I am actively exercising or it is over 85 outside and humid. I also tend to get extra cold after exercising, figure that I am just efficient at cooling. I am not deficient anything, just runs…

I don't have it on. I try to maintain an active lifestyle so for me it doesn't factor into my "exercise" it is just getting up and moving around.

Talk to your doctor, bring a food log with you. If you weren't pregnant I would recommend maybe cutting back on some of the fruit and looking at more protein and fats to keep your blood sugar from bouncing around so much.

I think that unless the NDA was disclosed prior to purchase it isn't going to be enforceable and that they are going for sheer indimination.

Stop what you are doing if it is hurting your back. You can lose weight through diet and non lifting exercise. Can you get in to see a physical therapist to talk to your pain about. A shot isn't going to fix a muscle or skeletal issue.

You have to consume a huge amount of caffeine for it to do anything. Tea and coffee are delicious and can replace higher calories drinks but that is it.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity to change things up! Read a book, pick up a new hobby, go out for a walk, maybe check out local groups in your area to meet some new people. Do something other than sitting around watching tv if you know that it will make you eat. Yes, it is going to take some effort to get out of the…

You need to be happy with yourself and your goals. Since you lift you might carry around a little extra weight in muscle mass and that is ok. Don't compare yourself to others, that way leads to constant disappointment. You can always re-evaluate when you get to your goal but I wouldn't change the plan now.

Just to clarify they are regulated by the FDA like food, so they need be produced in a safe manner (not be adulterated). They are not regulated as drugs, hence the disclaimers on supplements that they are not to treat or cure illness or disease.

You don't have to exercise at all to lose weight, that can be done by diet alone. Exercise is for helping your keep your body in good shape (including your cardio vascular system). I like having a step goal for the day because it reminds me to get up and move throughout the work day. Plus, it is a great way to spend time…

If your tailbone hurts you can get a cushion for your chair or work on sitting differently. Rotate the top of your hips slightly forward, you might have to sit up straighter. This will help distribute the weight to the backs of your legs rather than the back of your pelvis. Great job!

Do not force yourself to exercise when it is painful. Keep doing the things that you love and keep you active. You can lose weight through diet alone (as you know).

You aren't going to bulk up lifting weights. Lifting will help you maintain the muscles that you have during your weight loss. Plus is is great for bone density, posture, general health.

If you went to the website it is predicated on your being able to do one to start off and you only get up to 20 if you start off at 3. I am still working on that one.

I think that your HR monitor is overestimating your burn, that is tremendous for a 2 mile walk with a dog. For example, yesterday I walked 2.59 miles at an under 16min/mile pace and burned 202 calories (based on the Runmeter app). Now I am female and lighter than you but that still a huge difference. I have my activity…

You may have to let some of your time for exercise go, good news is that you can still lose weight if you keep your focus on your food. You should also pay close attention to your sleep hygiene, switching between days and night is going to be tough.

Fat goes where genetics tells it to. However standing up with good posture and strengthening your core is going to help you look and feel better. Yoga has really helped my posture and be more aware of when I am slouching.

Too late to change that post now, thongs it is!

You have done great, keep up the good work. For what is worth I think that you look great in the picture with the red pants and blue shirt. Everyone carries their weight differently, I have two separate areas of fat on my abdomen (one above my belly button and a larger area below, it is fairly common in women who are pear…

Ah one of the most sanctimonious thongs that people say to others as "helpful advice".

Hey it isn't advisable but we can't stop you. I don't see why you would want to risk your general health for an extra pound a week.

1500-500= 1000 calories. The actual deficit is dependent on what your BMR is. You won't be able to last on 1000 calories, let alone keep exercising. And why would you want to be miserable and using your muscles as well as your fat as fuel?

If you only want the HR part of it and not the step/movement tracking then it isn't the right device for you.
