You look fantastic. I love the women on MFP that are killing it with the weights, still looking soft, feminine and beautiful, but strong - tearing down the "if I lift I'll get bulky/masculine myth."

What are you trying to start? I agree with your sentiment. I think the behavior can sometimes resemble the arguing tactic "in your opinion."

I agree. But the Campaign to Eradicate Silliness from the Internets was way underfunded and failed miserably.

I'm guessing it's not Tate being evil, but his own, twisted way of protecting Violet. He may have felt that the exterminator would have notified Ben, who would have likely caused Violet to hear him reacting to her death. His plan was for her to choose her own death. I'm guessing the dead on living sex creates something…

You are correct up until your "Nobody is saying...." statement. The debate over the weight difference between 10 pounds of muscle and 10 pounds of fat (as well as 10 pound barbells and 10 pound reams of paper) has erupted on MFP multiple times. So clarity is needed.

Excellent. You are doing well. There are many on here that would say losing a pants size is a big deal (and more meaningful than a number on the scale). Congratulations.

Is my motorcyle at 10 mph faster than my bicycle at 10 mph?

Counting on consistent reasonableness from the online community is like counting on my dog to bring me my toothbrush when I ask. It might happen, but there will be a lot of waiting.

This is good stuff. The problem is that even though your point is excellent, we rarely spend the time or effort to address the real problems. As others have pointed out, we want to slap band-aids on symptoms, quick and fast. Addressing real underlying issues takes time, energy, patience and some skill. We'd rather ban…

In 5-10 years, we will see a backlash where studies will show how damaging overprotective helicopter parents have been to children and just like with the bully stuff, we'll overreact and go the other direction with wilderness camps and ways to "toughen" up our kids. I'm going to be ahead of the curve and set up a…

The time when that guy said that thing and those people were all like "what?" and "huh?" and then that other guy jumped in and said "whoah" and then everyone started arguing about that stuff, and people were all offended and hurt, and some of those other people were all "don't be so sensitive," then the mods came in and…

I really like the Honey Stinger energy chews (http://shop.honeystinger.com/categories/Organic-Energy-Chews/) but these Shot Bloks have Green Tea caffeine. Sounds interesting. Will have to try them. Thanks for posting.

Get balaclava for when it gets really cold. Of course, to us, really cold is below 40! ;)

I do the same! Our old office was on the third floor. It was easy to get in a couple trips per day. New office is on ground floor. I have to make a point of going up the stairs now.

Generally, a HRM will give more accurate results. I say "generally" because it's another data point. More data "generally" means more accuracy. But HRMs can be off. They tend to be VERY accurate measuring heart rate, so-so accurate measuring caloric burn. It's all guesswork, really. A lot depends on weight. More weight…

Interesting. What about dairy would do this? You are correct that there are articles stating this. I like a lot of dairy products, so this would be good news to me. Here is one article I found that seemed to making similar points as your post: http://www.webmd.com/diet/news/20040416/dairy-foods-fat-weight-loss Then I read…

Thanks for posting this. The article doesn't really surprise me, but I was a little disappointed that it positioned the issue as a conflict instead of something that was just interesting. I accept that conflict is sexier journalism, though. I probably fall more into an agnostic than atheist definition, but I certainly…

Amen. Really good coffee doesn't need anything to mask bitterness, poor brewing or low quality beans.
