eh, I think I see myself as I am in the mirror - a bit overweight but with a nice figure. I carry my weight in my boobs, hips, and thighs so I have a small waist. It's when I see pictures that I get upset with my looks - a bad angle can make anyone look terrible.

Ehhh...I have friends who say they can eat "anything" and not gain...their anything is a lot less than mine was when I was heavier. My calories are set to 1500 and I find it generally works for me, if I'm extra hungry (like I was last week) I'll eat though. I find that I can get enough nutrients and get full of off 1500 though. Body-wise, I feel like I will never be satisfied with how I look. So I decided to focus on function more than aesthetics. Can I run faster, can I lift heavier things? This is how I measure my progress. We are so much more than our looks.

If you're having trouble, just eat more calorie-dense foods such as whole eggs, peanut butter, meat with some fat (if you eat meat). I think 1400 minimum would be better for a girl of your height.

thanks for the replies all! yeah, when I have a cold, I am just starving for no reason! I fed it all last week ( no clue if I gained, my scale battery is broken) but now after a week my appetite is back to normal, thank God!

Would I be too embarrassed to take this to the media? Absolutely! Was that manager a total prick? Um yes. Any name objectifying these women would be wrong - fat, fit, whatever. white rice is fine but 330 grams a day is a lot, especially if you are lacking protein. I'd cut the rice to once a day.

Nope. I know for sure it's the way I feel about my fat that keeps me from approaching men I like. I get approached often but I'm kinda picky, so there's that. Also, I was heavier than this in college (I just kept ballooning up!) and I never had trouble.

I'm trying to cut back as well. I can do fine during the week, not drink at all sometimes, but on the weekends I get pretty crazy...college mindset taking a while to wear off! Also, I smoke more when I drink, and I really want to quit smoking for good.

I'd watch it if it aired over here! These models are beautiful, and as many have said before, they are paid MILLIONS OF DOLLARS to look this good, heck, if someone offered me 10 grand my *kitten* woulda been in perfect shape months ago.
