"In all seriousness, if you've lost some weight maybe they're just jealous. Screw them. You should be proud of all your hard work. They'll be eating their words when you hit goal." This ignore it let it go its not even worth your time be motivated hit your goal weight and when your slim with a new wardrobe watch them try…

Well this is just my personal opinion but I feel like maybe cardio would be a good start I only say this because you used the words "severely, morbidly obese" I've started trying to lose weight to and I stick to High intensity cardio and also I know 100 squats might seem like a lot but once you drop weight they actually…

Agree with a lot of it great thread. Only thing I semi-disagree with is Subway but that may just be me =P. Two things I would add that I've found helpful is 1) if you plan on cooking/preparing a meal putting it into MFP before hand actually helps you keep track of your cals for the rest of the day and sometimes it'll make…

Sorry to hear that people want to but in on your life if it makes you feel any better I've had people do this to me a lot to some extent. They feel like giving me mountains of advice while being very over weight. I for one am very proud of your journey and I hope to work myself up there as well but in the end…

Ok, well I know not all bodies are alike but when I cut AKA try to drop body fat % I do High Intensity interval training (aka HIIT). as far as calories go trust what ever MFP gives you as your daily calorie goal and try to eat at a 300-500 cal deficit. So if MFP gives you 2,000 calories as a daily goal try your best to aim…

Wow yeah 3k calories is a crazy amount well first off not too sure how much 14 stone is (Stupid Americans) but My fitness pal does a great job of giving you a good cal intake so if you tell them your current weight and then what you want to be they should give you a caloric goal for the day called you maintenance.…

Okay well first things first weight loss works a lot easier if you use MFP as much as you can so get the app if you need to. second thing is to lose weight you need to be at a deficit so if mfp says I can eat 1880 cals in a day and I eat 1780 my body will then burn 100 cals of stored energy (fat) to put me at 1880 or what…

Well I've always told myself if I started balding id just shave it so I'd say the same to you people commenting looking at it is no fun just be rid of it

as far as calories go I trust MFP with that as far as losing goes make sure you have a reasonable deficit and remember water water water water water water waterrrrrrr. stopped drinking water and drank other 'diet' 'zero cal' drinks stalled for bout a week went back to water was fine so get those eight cups in a day and…

Tbh I trust MFP it has done me no wrong so far still losing weight as is it will recheck calories every 10 lbs tho so no worries as you get smaller so do your calories

Yay a post I can actually answer ^_^ you want your meal/protein shake to be post workout since your muscles break down protein is what build them up it will also (in my opinion) keep you fresh for the next days workout and not feeling like ur still hurting for the previous day. that seems fine for breakfast. and the…

Tbh it all depends on the diet and where your macros are at try to eat healthy all day as best you can and then once youve logged everything and you look back at MFP and see you have a few more calories/carbs left then maybe then is the time to eat half of that cookie laying on the counter thats really the only time I…

Have somewhat the same problem I'm very flat footed I use gel based insoles with 'arch support' that seem to help me well enough found them at walgreens easily enough. If your feet still hurt after that would consider getting a doc to take a look

Absolutely love Almond Milk has been great to use while I'm on this new diet. it helps a lot i use it with my post workout shake instead of regular milk same taste but no carbs/sugars to throw me off my weight goal would def recommend it to everyone

Hm... I definitely cant say its ever cost me or put a strain on a relationship tbh most time when the phase "I've started going back to the gym" gets said its usually going to be supported because there are very few things more important than you're personal health. If they're feeling left out I can understand that but try…
