But surely if your heart rate is up you are burning calories. I bought a polar ft4 yesterday and had it on whilst working today ( I'm a self employed gardener) my average rate was 95 with a max of 145 and burned 2750 cals. Thanks Kate. It is hard to pick yourself up after injury. I did it before and I aim to do it again. As a gardener I get quite a lot of exercise anyway but I need to keep it up in my down time. Fingers crossed and hard work ahead we can all reach our goals and set a positive change for the future.
