All that oil and butter sound kinda gross, there's not really any need for that... she could use some butter and a stock to baste it with and she'd save money. I've actually saved money on food because I eat less, dine out less and I don't get takeout or ready-made foods anymore. Buying foods in bulk helps save, too..…

Last weekend was my last biggie meal, but it was planned -- big shrimp feast plate, cheesy buns, caesar salad, pasta and a HUGE piece of chocolate cake to finish it off, nom.

I agree with most of the posts, fruit and bread is fine when you're sick. One of my go-to foods when I'm sick is soup... any kind of soup, good way to get in vegetables and protein. Maybe you could consider that for next time? Otherwise, carry on... you are fine! Working out 6 days a week is admirable :)

I'm a big supporter of organic foods, so I definitely think it's worth paying extra for organic coffee (something I drink everyday also). It doesn't surprise me that coffee is heavily sprayed with pesticides. I just recently saw a program on TV of a group of researchers that did a study on pesticides in tea, and it turns…

Perhaps you can ask him to take them to share with other people (co-workers, family, etc) so they won't be sitting around the house tempting you... otherwise, this is where your willpower really needs to kick in.

I feel your pain! When I bake, I always plan to share or give away at least half of what I make to keep myself in check.

This thread totally made my morning!

This is my favourite thread in the whole forum! I've been away for a while, but I see Acg is still pumping out the mad eats.... nice

Sorry if I'm repeating something someone already said, but I understand where you're coming from. I think there were a couple of people at work that actually thought I was starving myself or something - very embarrassing. However, there is hope! Just as people got used to seeing you heavier, they will get used to seeing…

Please add me and I can help to keep you accountable and encourage you, I appreciate mutual motivation as well. It's easy to fall, but the important part is getting back up again. We can do this :)

Add me for mutual motivation, I could use an extra friend or two myself :)

Insanity has given me results and I would recommend it for anyone looking for workout videos, I never got into any of Shaun T's other workout series though.

I'm in a similar situation as you - reached my target goal and then went off MFP and gained back some weight over the cold Canadian winter! Feel free to add me, I'm looking for another friend or two for mutual motivation :)

I was planning to lay low but would also love a few friends for encouragement. I plan on doing Insanity also, let's kick some butt :)
