I'm following P90x, so it alternates between weights and cardio over the six days. Currently it looks like: Chest, Shoulders, Triceps Cardio Back & Biceps Cardio Legs & Back Cardio On the days I have weights I do my abs as well. Weights workouts are normally 50 to 55 minutes and I work to failure of form. The majority of…

I wouldn't mind looking like Shaun T from Beachbody.

Try doing 2 minutes of jacks at a reasonably quick pace followed by a minute of deep squats then another minute of tuck jumps, if your knees are painful at the end of that then you are going to find it hard going with Insanity. When I first started doing P90x (I had ~90lbs to lose when I first started) all the jumping…

Having to buy new clothes, and having to buy slightly smaller than you need because otherwise they wouldn't last long as they'd end up being too big in a few weeks. Not having a big enough belly to rest my drink or plate on while slouching is a pain as well.

I record mine as a moderate paced walk, but then the dog is off the lead for most of it so I'm not stop starting all the time.

I've the Withings Internet Scales, logs my (and the wifes and kids) weight/fat percentage on a (private) web site, makes tracking much easier. The web site has a nice trend line that irons out those peaks and troughs. They even have an app for iphone and android.

I have the same reward planned, a full back tattoo once I hit my goal weight, been busy saving up for it as they are so pricey. Have you set yourself mini rewards? Once I get half way I'm going to have my first design consultation as I'm expecting it to take a couple of months to get a design I'm happy with.

I have two sets of adjustable dumbbell bars and a big pile of plates, I think they top out at 53lbs before I need to buy bigger plates. One set is currently set to 35lbs and the other to 26lbs. I use the 35lb ones for all the biceps exercises, lawnmowers, calf raised and so on, the other for everything else. Each week I…

I'd gained 3 stone then lost it, then gained 5 more and lost that, last ten years have seen me put on 7 stone that I am currently in the process of losing. Calorie counting and copious amounts of exercise each time, weight comes back slowly if I stop exercising and counting calories.

Competition and charity events? I'm on a very slow build up to an event on father's day next year. As long as you keep track of your heart rate and listen to it and your body then there shouldn't be a problem if you keep pushing yourself. Humans are capable of the most amazing things, but only if we let ourselves do them.

Add in a few hours of cardio exercise, walking at a moderate pace?

I did about 7kg in my first four weeks, but then it was my first month and before I started I literally sat down all day and ate rubbish as well as having a high starting weight. Since then I've managed between 3.5 and 4.5 kg per month. Unless you have water retention or other problems every pound lost is 3500 net calories…

Most boxing movies work for me, the Fighter is particularly good.

If you are in the US Google have launched the beta for their Google Music service, looks pretty cool, I can't try it yet as I'm in the UK. I think Winamp lets you connect to Internet Radio stations? Haven't played with Winamp much on my phone as I'm happy with my old fashioned MP3s/FLACs and the Samsung Player.

We've been round this block a few times with my kids. I'd give the school a chance to sort it out, if they don't then you need to tell them to fight back otherwise it'll continue and only get worse. If bullies think they can get away with it they just keep pushing the bounds further out as it's often done for attention as…

I don't have quite as much to lose as you but I was still more than 50% over weight when I started and I haven't struggled, its hard but not impossible. Everything can be modified, you have a pause button on the remote, sounds like you've had a great start with what you have been doing for the last 2-3 months so you should…

Wish I liked avocados, one of nature's super foods. Also wish I could afford steak every day, I could eat that by the bucket. Going to go with eggs and chicken breast on top of my normal breakfast rotation. I'm also going to have to keep it at 2 protein shakes a day as well, days I'm lowest is the days are the days I only…

Sounds like the P90x plus schedule as Total Body Plus, Interval X and so on are all P90x+ workouts. Try the link mbeach recommended for the right schedule. @Loveinlifeguy: I can't quite get my legs straight and I my wife helps me straighten them once I have my legs pointing upwards. It is getting easier but I'm still away…

When I was 17 I was drinking Rum at the back of the Physics class Organising concerts for local bands and working the mixing deck I had less than a 28" waist Sold my bike for a car as I'd passed my driving test Working 40 hour weeks while going to school, something I carried on into Uni

Pringles and Krispy Kremes; can't go near them as I could eat a tube or a dozen of either in a single sitting :(

The right kind of music gets me so high I'm bouncing off the ceiling. Girl Talk's All Day gets me pretty amped at the moment.

Checking in for this week, been another hard week as I've been poorly for most of it so it's been hard to keep exercising. 2504: 236.3 lbs 0205: 232.5 lbs lost 3.8 lbs 0905: 230.1 lbs lost 2.4 lbs 1605: 228.1 lbs lost 2 lbs Lost: 8.2 lbs total

I use Sport Tracker as its a little better with indoor training. I also have the bluetooth part heart rate strap, well worth the investment.
-
I started out with it for my first month and the wife used it for a couple of months before that. There is good variety of exercises, even with weights. Detection of what you are doing is really good. What I didn't like was that it was hard to get a longer session on the planner, most seemed to be 30 minutes or less,…

I've promised myself a full back tattoo once I've lost my fat. I'm getting close to the weight I promised I could have my first consultation and I'm getting excited. I want a stained glass window with a few geometric patterns with a basis in math formula.

had a long look at the insanity calender today and decided there isn't enough ab out weight work for me, I guess I'm too fussy. I'm thinking on a P90x and insanity doubles hybrid once I've reached 60 days, I'm currently at day 40 so not that long to wait. I know I should complete the ninety first but I've that new workout…

I've the Withings Internet scales that record everything on a web site, much easier. Every once in a while the scales throw out a funny reading for my percentage fat but if I stand off and then on again they seem to work fine. Not as accurate for those digital pincer things but more than enough to show the trend.
-
I'm a big fan of protein shakes, would be expensive and hard to hit my calories and keep carbs and fast down.
-
Hybrid sounds good, I'd like to step up to doubles as well, nothing too heavy just some of the one to one yoga DVDS as they are much shorter than Yoga X. Turbo fire is a lot of fun, fast paced but really dance orientated.

Tony Horton and healthy eating.
