I work out every day but one day is something like cardio recovery, something you do for stretch or body weight strength. I started out every other day, running 3 miles on the treadmill. then slowly became a fitness junkie and have to do something every day or feel unsettled. LOL
-
This is wrong...I think these people who take the shots have no rights to do that.
-
No, my problem started since I was a child. It's the people around me who made me super self-conscious as I was constantly reminded how chubby I was and how much bigger I looked comparing to my friends. It stuch with me until these days. I am still the same way and have a very unhealthy self image.

All sounds good...but my problem is I am a big eater...the stuff you guys listed is on my list too but portion wise I don't know how to handle...What's your normal protein size, 6 oz, 8 oz?
-
LOL whatever makes me feel full is what I meant...pardon my English.
-
After a while they (snack foods I used to crave) don't even taste good any more...But I still have days that I just want to eat more...more healthy stuff, like double sized of beef pot roast or more turkey breast...or a whole pound of blueberries...

I read a few blogs about food tracking. Quite a few suggest keeping a food journal, not caloric tracking necessarily but simply write down what you eat every day, then evaluate it over time to see how you are doing. If counting number gets into you, maybe try something like this for a few days to see how it goes? It still…

I just wanted to clarify I meant to say those days of treating myself...I do track too, but sometimes in those days I tend not to...
-
"Everyone is different" that's exactly the key...some who can lose weight without tracking but they are not you, and you are not them...DIdn't want to sound mean or anything but I have been there trying to copy other's success but only failure came to my way...but again, everyone is different and has different goals...
-
LOL I thought I was cheating myself because I do this too...then I see people here saying they log everything even when they are over eating...
-
I don't have personal experience but I have heard from my friends that when they are breast feeding their weight is very hard to manage, some lost a lot; others can't get rid of any...
-
you probably carry it off really well given your height...It's not small for sure but they are not big either. It all depends how you look overall.
-
curious if this comes from where you work/study or some where else? I have never encountered people like that...At work, usually people are pretty careful when it comes to fitness, weight loss or food choice...
-
where did you guys get all these gifs...they are so funny...
-
everybody is different. I try to stay away from certain "trigger foods" to me. I am not saying they are good or bad but I just observe every time I eat this stuff in the morning, my whole day is collapsed. :)

I used to want to look like one of the Victoria Secret Models, but now I think I prefer Athleta models.
-
I think you hit the nail on the head...I wanted thinner legs, maybe not stick thin but really thin...2 size smaller than what I got now. But then when I start appreciating muscles...I am kinda in dilemma now: what I am doing apparently is not give what I want, but what I like what I got so far and don't want to give up.…

I am a peared shape person. My thighs are always bigger and they used to jiggle a lot. Now they are still not near where I want to be size wise but I do notice the change of firmness and slight improvement of the over shape of my legs...but nothing so tangible that I could tell you that I lost one pant size or something in…

if deduction works here, I would say I have been eating at maintenance at least given I have not lost much on the scale, nor inches? I honestly have not been loyal to food logging.
-
umm.....I was merely curious what it could be besides muscle (since people already are pretty determined that's not muscle).
-
that is an amazing story. Good for you~
-
I was hoping that was the case. But without signicant weight/inch loss, its hard to believe...as people here often tell others that you can't gain muscle and lose fat at the same rate...or nearly impossible...
-
Slightly off the subject...I didn't realize that was Mark Sisson who was selling the recovery drink at the end of each P90x...LOL
-
LOL I should have read your post before I started my own...I just asked the same question in another thread...that firmness..where did it come from, seriously...
-
Ummm...but I should have seen inch loss as well, right? but I haven't seen it coming...at least not in significant way...
-
thank you for the clarification. I often wonder how many "coaches" are on this board as “one of my client" seems one of frequently used terms here. LOL
-
I have done p90x, chalean extreme and started instanity recently. The only crossing path (figure of spech) with these "coaches" is when I search some topics and their message board comes out once in a while..The only impression I had which could be totally biased is it's easy to become one of these coaches....the word…

TDEE to your metrics and amount of activities you do seems a bit low...are you sure you got the number right?
-
Ironically setting a never-have-reached goal keeps me going, with lots of frustration and depression, of course but I have never stopped trying new stuff.
-
for those who can't handle .2 lb change, maybe it's not a good idea to step on the scale every day... Sounds like in OP's head, "maintaining" means staying the exact weight, not a decimal more not a decimal less...if that's the case...nobody would be able to "maintain"...
