thank you everyone for replying...just a quick update: 3 days later, i was down 5 lbs...but still a few more than before the long run...:(
-
I ran on Saturday morning and weight 10 lb heavier last night, sunday night. :)
-
thank you everyone, right or wrong or in between, i appreciate your information and input. i will try to calm myself down...just came back from my morning 4 mile run...see ya~
-
could very well be...i can definitely eat 5 pounds of food at one sitting, plus water...
-
I think he's being sarcastic. :)
-
well, i don't do 10 miles everyday but have been running like 5 miles a day...i guess i really freaked out. been in fitness for quite some time but still can't ditch the scale.
-
with that 10 lb "gain" now i am officially overweight. wanna cry...
-
ah, I didn't track that. but really sodium can make that much difference? 10 lbs? i can't wrap my head around this...:(
-
guess you can do portion control in this case? get less than you would normally get and evaluate after a month?
-
it all ends up how YOU FEEL about YOURSELF, seriously. My stats are pretty close but never feel thin or pretty. :( I can feel for OP, honestly. I know how that feels... Good luck~
-
don't really know how to "cut" lower part but thank you, it seems a must-to-do....I used to be very afraid of "bulk" so i ended up in infinitive "cutting" stage. :(
-
of course I would want to "keep" losing fat but 2 years all it seems is about the abs, nothing else. hence the question, what else should I do...
-
never got it tested, but all those commercials on say I am at 25%...:(
-
I feel more obsessed with the idea of "being thinner' and get depressed since I don't seem getting anywhere near "being thin".
-
I dont know. Maybe I still get this hang-up about the number on the scale associated with my look...I feel I can never let scale go completely. I don't weigh myself every day but once in a while I still do just to make sure I am not gaining too crazily.
-
I will go with home scale since it's most likely you will be using it for the most of weigth in days...
-
I think you can say no to the scale if that makes you feel uncomfortable.
-
I hope this doesn't come out in the wrong way but... on a tight budget could mean buying less food? be more selective? buying less food and eating less is the key to weight loss, isn't it?
-
I carry all my baggage on lower half...
-
I wish I had "skinny" problems...I only have "fat" problems...like muffin tops, and pants fitting tighter every day....*sigh*...
-
eat 1200 AND run a full marathon...so I guess it's possible...but likely or not, it's a different subject...
-
you could be right but...only if clothing makes could consider all shapes....
-
my muffin top is like the Great Houdini, sometimes more visible than other times, especially when I suffer severe bloating. some people say we have muffin tops because we are wearing the wrong size pants this could be true...or not. I have pants that don't show at all while ohers even one size large still show... on my bad…
-
i want to know, too. I appear leaner but not really losing weight nor inch...but my muscles are more showing than ever...what gives?
-
I have been always working out first thing in the morning with empty stomach. I can't run, or jump or move fast with full stomach. but that's just me.
-
I think I know where you come from, and I feel I can relate to somewhat level...I hope you figure out what works for you soon~
-
I guess you also ate food during this period of time, correct?
-
on a related note, I also wonder what happens to those who fast like a week or longer. even your metabolism is slowing down on the fourth day, it's still burning right? so if you fast 7 days or a month, you should lose a lot of weight, too. Is this right?
-
sorry but I failed to see the logic here...if you burned 3500 calories, it should be a pound right? either it's within 8 hours or 8 days?
-
can't believ it has been a year since I finished my last and only round of p90x....It was a good strength trainign workout but I don't think I want to go back do it again... It's pretty time consuming especially the yoga days...oh my lord...if you are not very into yoga, I suggest splitting it into 2 sessions, first 45…
