I always wash my face right before I workout. So, if I happen to be wearing make up when I walk into a gym, it's off before I start.

That's terrible! Every time I see someone running (or even walking, every little thing counts!) who happens to be overweight, I get the urge to pull over and tell them they are doing a great job. I haven't yet, for fear of freaking someone out, but maybe I should start!

I love all things Stephen King, used to be a little obsessed with him. I don't think I could choose a favorite book, but there are so many good ones that no one has mentioned! Like Desperation, or The Dark Half. I agree with pretty much everyone else, the books are hands down so much better than the movie adaptations.…

I'm a penguin!! This is pretty cute :)

Definitely talk to your OB. Exercise is good while you are pregnant, but you shouldn't push yourself as hard. In reality, you only need to add about 300 calories (to your maintanence level) to be getting the right amount of nutrients while you are pregnant. But definitely, DEFINITELY ask your OB.

I would say don't worry about it at all. If you have to, repeat the workout until you get it! I have to redo a whole week because I started to slack off a bit. I think it's a lot easier on my body when I do at least a day in between running workouts, and if it was especially hard I might take two days off in between. I…

Definitely stock up on some healthy snacks you can have. Popcorn, veggies and hummus, fruits, smoothies, whatever floats your boat. Remember, it's always (almost always) better for you if you make it yourself! As for the pizza, either let your boyfriend eat the leftovers, or stick it in the freezer. It's okay to have a…

It really depends. I count coffee and tea as water. Yes, coffee is a diuretic but the effect is so slight (unless you are drinking tons of coffee and nothing else) that it really won't affect you overall. I won't count anything that is sugary such as juice as water. Edit: I also put all of my drinks other than water in my…

...Didn't you say in another thread that you were seeing two guys at the same time?

I would suggest also going to a chiropractor. Some members of my family go regularly, (I go every once in awhile) and I always feel good after I go.

It counts calories through out the entire day. If you do mostly the same activities everyday, then your calorie burn is going to be about the same. I don't need to pay to have something tell me I burn about 2600 calories each and every day...

Go see your PCP, they can recommend exercises to do, or have you see a specialist. The internets are not the place to ask for advice when you are in pain.

Some people will tell you not to eat fruit because of whatever reason, but in reality fruit is good for you. Eat it. If you are going over your sugar because of fruit, no big deal. The only reason you should worry about your sugar intake is if you are eating too many processed sugars, or if a doctor says to (if you have…

I think once you get to a certain maturity level sex does become important. I mean, you don't have to bang someone on the first date, but after a year it would be okay. I'm sorry he cheated on you, but most people want sex eventually.

I agree with this. Actually, I have read through all of the posts, and I'm still on the side of go for it. Weirder things have happened, and you should be happy. Take things slow, see where they go. And if nothing else, it will probably royally piss off your brother. :drinker:

I have received accidental texts of inappropriate things.. such as male body parts... that was embarrassing for all involved!

First time committing to a challenge.. I'm in!

Wow, I truly cannot imagine living with that. I'm really happy you went to the doctor; try to remember that it might take awhile to get all the details sorted out (different medications and whatnot) but you are on your way. I really identified when you said that your brain chemicals seemed to just change one day. That's…

Gin and tonic is my go-to drink! It's my favorite alcoholic drink.

I have a bodybugg, and I really love it. It comes with a free trial period, and it's really long (a year? nine months? not sure). I've been using it for quite awhile and haven't paid for the subscription yet, and I'm actually at the point where I feel like I can stop wearing it because I feel like I'm getting myself under…

Absolutely this. Also, you are only one week into this. Give it time. Sometimes I go weeks without seeing any progress, and gain a few pounds back, but then all of a sudden the extra weight is gone and I've lost two pounds on top of it. Just stick with it. Remember, this isn't only about losing weight, but about being…

It sounds to me like you just don't want it bad enough... Or maybe you should go to your doctor and get some tests done, or visit a therapist. Intense apathy is a sign of depression.
-
You should expect to burn 300-500 calories with a 30 minute jog, depending on your body and the intensity.

Thank you for sharing! This was very interesting... I do worry about what will happen to my son if something were to happen to me, and sometimes I worry about ceasing to exist like you said. But I believe in reincarnation (not necessarily that you will come back to life as a bird, but that we live many lives as humans). I…

I just bake/microwave it, and eat it with a TINY bit of butter, brown sugar, and lots of cinnamon. It's really good! Or plain too. I always eat them with the skin on, too.

It really depends on how much you drink. If it's one a day, no big deal just keep having your pop. If that's all you drink... you might want to consider at the very least cutting back. I really like the Mio water enhancer things; you might try something like that.

Enjoy your cake. It's a once in awhile thing. If you really want to make it healthy, do applesauce instead of oil. Make your own cake and frosting. Most of the calories are in canned frosting.

I'm currently working on C25k and sometimes I repeat days just because I thought the run was more difficult, or I don't feel strong enough that day to move forward. I accidentally repeated one days run three times, when I was only supposed to do it once! Don't stress if you are slow to start, in the instructions it says to…

I very quickly cut down on the amount I was smoking, over the course of a few days (I was pregnant and needed to quit asap). Started back up again after I had my baby. Found out third-hand smoke could be causing ear infections in my son. Quit cold turkey. Sometimes, I would just hold a cigarette to satisfy my craving,…

Right now I wear a tankini (my stretch marks sound as bad as yours) but I think when I am closer to my goal weight I will wear one. I'm not embarrassed by my stretch marks, just my jiggly belly fat!
