  • I do it. It works for me pretty well. I do my workout, shower, and go to bed exhausted.
  • WOW!! That's amazing. Keep it up! :flowerforyou:
  • I love fishing!!!
  • Fire_Rock said some of what I was thinking... The reason why we have to cook beans for so long before we eat them, is because when they are raw our bodies can't digest them properly. They can make you sick. I can't tell you exactly why off the top of my head, but I'm sure if you do some research on trustworthy sites you…
  • I think this is true! I used to not drink very much water, but now that I make an effort to drink more, it's easier to eat less. If that makes sense at all.
  • Buy dried beans. I cook three cups of beans in the crock pot for about 8 hours on high, with an onion, garlic, and two or three cubes of chicken bouillon. I serve it with a little bit of cheese and a scoop of greek yogurt, and it's just like a healthy bean soup. My four year old (pick eater) loves it!
  • I like to roast them in the oven with a little olive oil and salt. They get really crunchy, kind of like corn nuts. :)
  • I actually just had to do this. My pants are always too long, so my mom suggested taking a little fabric off the bottom and sewing on my own belt loops. This way, they match my pants and everything. I literally have zero extra income to buy new clothes, so this was a big help.
  • I say you definitely don't need to fork out the money. Use the money you would spend on a gym membership to save up for some of your own fitness equipment. I was able to buy a lot of things used. Sometimes you can find a really good deal on weights on Amazon or other websites. Just a few basic tools will make a huge…
  • Wow, you look amazing! I'm jealous :drinker:
  • I go back and forth. If I know I'm only a little over, then I might not log those items. But if I go way over, I log those things too. Sometimes I'm surprised by how much "way over' actually is. Yesterday I had a bad food day, logged it all, and found out I only ate about 2200 calories. It kind of made me feel better…
  • Bump. I want to look at this later, when I'm not at work.
  • I'm gonna guess 185
  • Hello! Can I ask, did you speak to your physician or to your OB/GYN? An OB might be able to prescribe you with some estrogen or something like that, which will not affect your baby-making abilities, but might help get your hormones on track. I tried the birth control method, only took about three months of taking it to…
  • I really like the Smart Smoothies from Complete Nutrition. I have a hard time getting enough protein, because I don't like meat very much. They taste really good, and mix nicely. Have you tried a blender bottle? I think they work better than some of the other bottles out there. I have some of the Body by Vi mix (someone…
  • I would not give up eating breads. Make better choices, and you will be fine. Instead of getting white bread, get something with a lot of fiber and whole grains. Or try eating open faced sandwiches. If you have a problem logging water or drinking enough water, sometimes it helps to get a big water bottle that holds all the…
  • I run at night, always after my dinner. I don't run until about 8 or 9, and I usually eat my dinner at 5 or 5:30, so I have plenty of time to digest. If I don't wait long enough, sometimes I throw up or just have a really hard time getting through my run. That's just how it works for my schedule; I think you would be fine…

  • I apologize, I should be more clear and speak in less general terms. Sweet n low contains Dextrose, a simple sugar. "Dextrose is simply a form of glucose. Some food packagers like to use "dextrose" on their packaging instead of "glucose" because they believe that people have negative associations with glucose. This sugar…
  • I'm seeing a lot of fast food and processed food in the last week and a half or so. Also, a lot of your foods say "homemade." Did you actually put in the recipe for these? If not, you need to be careful. Someone's homemade item may be completely different from what you are eating. One other thing is the sweet n low. I know…
  • I like to make my breakfasts for the week on Sunday. I make a huge batch of steel cut oats (with toppings, like fruit or cinnamon), oatmeal bakes, muffins, whatever I feel like eating that week. I portion them out into individual containers, then I just grab one and go each morning. Microwave it at work for a minute, and…
  • Okay, so I'm not a professional, but I have take a few nutrition courses and I have done a significant amount of research in my personal time. Everyone is different. You need to figure out what works well for you. Also, when you read something on the internet, see if it comes from a reputable source. (Ex, no Yahoo!…
  • I've only thrown up during a work out once, and it was because I ate too much for dinner. I just had too much in my body, and while I was running on the treadmill it all came up. I wasn't working too hard, but I'm sure that can happen. I've heard other people won't even drink while they are working out for this reason.
  • Wow you are such an inspiration! I would certainly like to be a part of the giveaway!
  • I would just look on Amazon. Most stores like Michael's, where they have a large variety of items in stock that changes constantly, don't list their entire inventory online. And a lot of times their inventory varies by store. Most of the time, if I see something in a store, I can find it on Amazon. You might have to browse…
  • I agree; I'm pretty tired of this site because of all the junk on the forums.
  • Change your MFP settings to maintenance rather than weight loss to help with a calorie goal.
  • The best thing to do is look at the ingredient label. Find something that is just peanuts, and usually they have oil too.
  • Cheesecake Factory
  • I used to play. But then it became more of a job than something to do for fun. I've been geeking out on League of Legends and Path of Exile now. Dethea is my name for pretty much all of my games.
  • I'm in for 50 miles!
