Yes. Sometimes I have a small amount of something sweet, like a couple pieces of chocolate. Other times I have fruit, mints, a hard candy, or gum to get the sweet effect. You might also try brushing your teeth -- it certainly kills my appetite after a meal.

Try using an interval setting, with 1 minute walking very briskly at a high incline, then 1 to 3 minutes jogging/running at a lower incline. This keeps your body guessing and is not as boring as a workout at just one speed.

I got a Women's Polar FT7 on Ebay for about $75. Of course I take the chance that if something goes wrong with it, I wont be able to return it, but so far it has been great. Same model is about $110 at Best Buy.

Edamame! I get a side of 'em when I have sushi so I can slow things down since hundreds of calories of sushi can disappear in six bites of your standard maki.

I hope it gets easier!!! I found Level 1 for free on Verizon On Demand, which is nice, but I also dont have any instructions re progressing to the next level. Anyone know how long you are supposed to stay at Level 1?

Me too. Beats an increase though! Think of it as the place where the rubber meets the road and challenge yourself to dig in for one week and see if you can break through.

I found these at an ordinary grocery store chain in New England (Market Basket), in the dairy/cheese section. I am loving all the ideas. Particularly anything cheese-and-crackery under 100. And I must be the last to know about Fiber One brownies, LOL! Thanks all, and keep them coming!
