  • I had the same issue until recently. I never had cracked heels until I started gettting professional pedicures regularly and then stopped. And I live in flip flops during the summer. But I started using a pumice stone after my shower every night and then I use Sally Hansen cracked heel lotion. I rub it in and then put on…

  • I'm curious on this topic too!
  • I"m in! Starting weight 188! I burned about 733 today!!
  • I wear my HRM when I'm at the mall or zoo. I do this because it's not something common that I do. I do it maybe twice a month if that, therefore I'm walking around and pushing my baby usually and I feel it's exercise. If it's something you do on a regular basis i probably would not count it.
  • I did WW for a few months before MFP and lost a few lbs but nothing big. I think it's great for some, but as many plans not one plan works for everyone. I started MFP and actually logged my food in MFP and WW website both for about a week and not alot of difference in where I was at point wise versus calorie wise except…
  • I have aweful stretch marks from pregnancy despite all efforts.. I finally decided to invest the money in mederma stretch mark cream. It has been awesome. I've been using as directed and one 5 oz bottle has lasted me 12 weeks. For a 5 oz bottle it's $40 but you can get coupons on the mederma website too. It's the only…
  • awesome!! What workout have you been doing??
  • Mine has gone down some with zumba but I won't know for sure how much until I'm measured on Wednesday. I'll keep ya posted!
  • awesome results!
  • No one person is the same but if you are only eating 900-1200 cal a day I'd say to little some days. Average person needs 1200 cal a day to function basically.. so if you eat 1200 cal and work out and burn off 300 you are only eating 900 cal. a day and that's not enough. MFP wants you to eat back your calories you burn. If…
  • I thought about that when I started too but I decided not restrict myself so much that I need a cheat day. If I am wanting something then I will eat it, I have just learned to eat smaller portions. Pizza is a great example.. in the past I would have eating 3-4 pieces, now I eat two and am done. I will usually workout…
  • I agree with another post.. I zig zag my calories too... some days I go over by a 100 or 200 and others I"m under by that much. It seems to work better. Also I noticed that if I work out every day I stall out. I usually work out 4-5 days a week and I stay on track. Also, I don't restrict myself. If I want something I eat…
  • Welcome to the site!!! Make sure to log your food daily. It may seem time consuming at first but it will become habit and I've noticed it has helped me eat better. If you need any friends feel free to add me! Just stay within your calories and you'll do great. But remember if you go over a day... no worries just get back…
  • I too could only do maybe half when I had started. I could definately tell a big difference around week 3. Stick with it don't get discouraged. Just do what you can. Don't push to hard where you hurt yourself though either! You will do great!
  • I was the same way too.. Only Benadryl would work but then I tried Allegra.. have you tried it. It's actually over the counter now.. just in the last few weeks I believe. But to answer your question.. YES neti pot does work. I've used mine several times and it works wonders. I was actually refered to it by friends who…

  • I also tried this HCG diet... well the first 10 days I followed exactly droppped a lb a day but felt hungry constantly... I was starving. The HCG did not help the hunger at all... then the rest of the diet I cheated... ate ice cream every day and other things and stayed around 750 calories and still lost 1 lb a day. Didn't…
  • It kinda has a flowery smell to me. I don't think it's a bad odor and it fades after an hour or so. Like I said nothing will get rid of them.. but I've tried many things with no luck but with the Mederma Stretch mark cream within 4-5 wks I started to notice a difference. Even my husband did and that says alot!!
  • I kinda like P90 X. But you need to have enough room. You do need a resistance band with handles at least and some weights. Which isn't bad. I have a pull up bar but I did the easy version and used the band for my pull ups. It does take an hour a day. I usually work out while my toddler is napping... I stopped P90x cuz I…
  • Best thing to do to find out calories burned is get a HRM. MFP will guesstimate on yours by your profile but it's not exact. I didn't spend alot on mine. Got a MIO for about $30 at Academy and it works great!
  • Mederma is a cream it does completely get rid of them.. nothing will do that.. but it does make them much less noticeable!
  • Yes.. eat back your calories. If you eat too little it could actually have a reverse effect on you and you could gain. I know there is a thread somewhere that tells you this. MFP already builds in a deficite for calories based on your profile therefore once you work out add it in and eat back! Sometimes I'm under 100 or so…
  • MEDERMA!! I have many stretch marks from being pregnant and I used several religiously with no results, but finally forked out the cash for mederma stretch mark cream and in 6 weeks I could tell a huge difference. It says it can take 12 wks tho. It's not cheap at $40 for a 5.29 ounce tube but it does work! I'm sure it…
  • to add on. I do Zumba at home on carpet and with regular cross trainers my knees and back were killing me after. Since I've been using these shoes I'm never sore.. except my muscles the next day! hehehe Plus I can move way better with them since they are so flexable. And hey they look good too!!
  • I didn't want to spend alot of money so I didn't go for the Nikes or Rykas.. But I found these (link below) they got great reviews and I've had them now for months and love, love, love them! I did go off the site and get a size bigger and still way to small. I wear a 10 in street shoes and had to order a 14 in these. They…
  • Good Luck! I too have tried it all it seems.. But I have had more success and have stuck to my exercising more since I've started MFP. I do not deprive myself of anything but try to stay in my calories that MFP gives me. If I go over a day I try to go alittle under the next or I work out alittle more to burn it off. I like…
  • I agree with others.. I used to be "a pepper" too.. mostly when eating pizza and mexican food. I switched to Diet Cherry Dr. Pepper and just diet Dr. p for about a month and then now I only have about one Diet Coke a week. Every once in a while I crave Dr. Pepper again and I will try to drink one and honestly it really…
  • MFP already figures in a calorie deficit before it gives you your goal calories for the day. Therefore you should eat what you burn during exercise. Check out this link below. It really helped me to understand. I was the same when I first started.…
  • Are you eating your calories that you burn?
  • I have been eating my calories burned due to MFP already figuring in the deficiency. In many days I do Zumba and then may walk with my little one later and can burn a total of 800 calories. So if I didn't eat my calories I'd lose fast I'm sure but probably be extremely sick also. I did start my TOM 2 days ago so maybe that…
