  • Thank you much for your input! And I think that you're right in regards to body composition. I recently tested my fat and muscle ratios in a "herballife" store and saw that my muscle mass had gone down...fat percentage had gone up. (dun dun dunnn) Like I've said, however, I am sort of clueless when it comes to "resistance…
  • Hey! My name is Gretchen :) I am 22. a bit under 5' 4'' with a goal weight of 115-118 Friend request sent!
  • Finally, someone spells it out! I appreciate you taking the time to share this with everyone. I think it some are mislead by the little red warning that pops up after a day when you do not meet your calorie total, because it mentions starvation mode. It does not mention, however, the specifics of how the body actually…
  • Try the 17 Day Diet!!! It completely restarts/resets your metabolism and- without question- WORKS. (IF you stick to it) You lose a good 15 lbs in the first two weeks and it does not stop there.. My sister and I did it over a year ago and I would recommend it to anyone that is honestly willing to commit to change. It is…
  • yep, I wil definitely make this this weekend :) Thanks!
  • All of these smart *kitten* above my are right. But they kind of made it seem like you had a stupid question- which you DON'T. No, you will not gain weight by eating at night. But in order to burn the most calories while you sleep, it is important to try not to eat 2-4 hours before you go to bed. If you eat a sandwich at 9…
  • Thank you all for your responses. I really appreciate it. I think that I might change my "plan" on here to allow for more calories. I also do pretty much do cardio for my exercise... so perhaps it is time for me to switch things up and add some cardio in. It is so hard for me to find time outside of class and work to work…
  • "EK-special-ee" for especially so bad.
  • I don't think there is any harm in being honest- especially if she is a good friend of yours. If there is any diet that will result in gaining all of the weight back plus some it is something like that!! If your friend is having weight problems- no matter how much she invests in online research and expensive products or…
  • SO inspirational!!!! You are absolutely gorgeous. Congrats on all of your hard work- this is what it's all about :) WAY TO GO!
  • Thanks for the input! I haven't ever heard of milk thistle- What does it do, exactly??
  • Thats great! You are currently at my goal weight:) haha. This weekend is kind of a crazy one for me...its the boyfriends birthday on Monday so EVERY night this weekend he has different things going on with our different friend groups. Lots of alcoholic beverages, might I say... Hoping this will not throw me off too much!
  • It depends on the workout... if it comes to a serious cardio work out where I know I am going to be huffing and puffing I prefer to work out alone. I honestly feel like I can run longer and feel less stressed out if I don't need to worry about keeping conversation and such. I like getting out on my bike with friends,…
  • I like to weigh every other day/every three days right away in the morning. Sometimes I will weigh more than that, too! Seeing even the ounces go down day-to-day is motivation enough for me to keep doing what I am doing. I am too impatient to wait longer! I dont see that as a problem, though.
  • I don't even know you but I am SO PROUD of you!!!! You look absolutely beautiful and so happy:) Congratulations on conquering your goal- you are such a rockstar.
  • I am going to be a senior, too! Plus I also haven't seen most of my friends since May or June- Lets get some jaws droppin, girl;) Good luck!
  • I hear you with the coffee! I do not have vanilla protein powder...just the standard green "hemp" variety. I suppose I could give it a try, though! Thanks for the idea:)
  • I love working out to classical, too:) (and CLEANING to it!) Personally, I can never have enough Bach but I should try Prokofiev for something different! Also- I am glad to see that others on here still enjoy some of their favorite snacks. I love ice cream- thanks for the blue bunny idea.
  • So glad to have you on board! I would love to hear any and all of your tips! (Also I did p90X lean last summer...only for about a month-boo. But it worked AWESOME-good for you! I have been thinking about picking it up again...
  • Right on! Welcome to the group! Thank God I cannot afford to eat out often because I know I would do it all the time! haha. You will bounce back- the body loves to be healthy:) Good luck!
  • I forgot to say that in my own plan- limiting the alcohol is HUGE! I am a bartender so it is extra hard when people are always tying to buy drinks for me, free! I love IPAs....like 300 cals each! aaah!
  • I have been measuring more of my servings, too. Turns out what I think is a half of a cup....is not really a half of a cup.. haha! Get it, girl!
  • Kileemae- I am so excited that we have such similar goals! I put 118 down but I would be SO happy with 120, too:) I realize that's a lot to lose in 7 weeks... but hey- If we stick to mfp, we will get there. its that simple:) nightfire389- congrats on your last year of college! I will be a senior but will have at least one…
  • Is this going to be your first semester of college? What an awesome way to start it out! Good for you. I also have times where I am unmotivated to work out- or there are too few hours in a day! We can motivate each other to keep on a goin.;)
  • TWO things... they may not be funny at all to other ppl but I nearly die every time i watch. 1)When Kaa squeeks away and Mocks Mogley "hehe He's got a knot in his tail" So funny- watch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTjcrNAp4DI near the end of the vid. 2) check out this ridiculously awkward creature.…
  • It's all a bit relative with me... but for the most part I can always see it in my tummy and face first, then the booty and legs... (I wish the booty and legs would go a bit quicker!)
  • TOSS them!! I think that packing away says "I'll probably get back there again." If you are committed to changing...toss them:) I bet it will be quite liberating.
  • I'm 21:) And I agree (above) best age EVER!! Feel free to add always looking for more friends.
