  • Yes, my plastic surgeon contacted the insurance company. It's pretty standard for my insurance company to cover part of it after extensive weight loss, though, so it wasn't too much of a hassle.
  • This is about a year later! It's hard to find accurate, real before and afters, so this is just for anybody that's interested in how it looks after all the scars are completely healed.
  • Definitely increased drive and enjoyment, but I think 90% of that is feeling that my own body is sexier and something other people could be attracted to.
  • I feel exactly like this! I'm only five or ten pounds from where I want to be, and I want to transition out of using MFP after I hit my goal. It's a great tool, but it definitely effects my emotional state more than it should - when I allow myself a day to splurge a little, the numbers make me regret it, etc. I don't want…
  • Water, diet soda, coffee, savory spices (I'll log cinnamon and nutmeg, but not garlic powder), mustard, tea - anything where I can't figure out calories per serving without being unreasonable. I do log gum, because the calories are on the package.
  • I do not consume artificial sweetener in moderation, I consume a ton of it. Really, just, so much. I've lost and kept off over 160 pounds, and am within 5 pounds of my goal weight. Some people find that sweeteners make them hungrier, so maybe those people shouldn't consume them. I don't know. I do know that they have not…
  • While age can be a factor, I lost all of my weight between ages 15 and 21 and still had loose skin. I think a lot of it really is the speed you lose it at and the natural, genetic elasticity of your skin.
  • I want to look sexy, find myself attractive, and have sexy men and women find me attractive. Also, I want to be comfortable in my own skin. I'm almost at that point, just gotta get sexy people on board
  • 5'7.5" SW 326, Pants size 26/28, shirt size 4XL, bra size 48DDD (I think) CW 158.5, Pants size 8/10, shirt size M, bra size 34D GW 155 (oh man!), same sizes (but hopefully firmly size 8 pants) My goal weight is going to be the first time I'm considered 'healthy' on a BMI chart in my adult life. I might adjust down five or…
  • Cauliflower, 80-calorie greek yogurts, coffee blended with peppermint extract. When I need a snack because I'm craving something tasty (and not because I'm actually hungry), I can eat 10 oz of cauliflower or a yogurt and feel full for a long time. The coffee is very, very few calories and feels like a treat every time.
  • Smoothies are great, I usually have one for breakfast every day (so feel free to look at my diary for ideas) My favorite ones have been pumpkin pie smoothie - 1 c almond milk -120 g nonfat vanilla greek yogurt -30 g vanilla protein -1.5 tsp cinnamon -.5 tsp nutmeg -.5 cup pureed pumpkin -Half a frozen banana And a tropical…
  • If I want an insane quantity of food for few calories, I do an eggbeater frittata for dinner. 10-12 tbsp eggbeaters, 2-3 oz shredded chicken, onions, asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots - whatever kind of vegetables you like. Then I add 28g of feta or 1 package of laughing cow swiss. It is a mound of food lol. My…
  • Most days I eat between 400 and 600 grams of vegetables, but could be more or less, depending. Eating a lot of vegetables is instinctual and enjoyable enough at this point that I don't enforce a strict number of servings or anything - I know my weekly vegetable intake will average out to a very high number. Edit: I just…
  • I literally bought a blender because of this thread.
  • This is the same for drinks at a bar or a burger at McDonald's - bartenders/employees will often give you extra liquor/condiments, throwing off the calorie count, and feel they're doing you a favor. Eating out is always a really rough estimate, even if they do provide caloric information.
  • The song 'Hot For Teacher' by Van Halen People who post on social media about how much weed they smoke/their relationship problems How fully grown adult Sims can't put out a goddamn fire to save their kids, jesus
  • The only type of breakfast that keeps me truly satisfied until lunch is a protein smoothie. Greek yogurt, one scoop of flavored protein powder, one cup of almond milk, and then some frozen fruit or other variations, and I am completely full. Cereal makes me feel immediately starving, and with eggs I usually like a snack…
  • Preach! I, too, would scoff at a woman out of makeup. Get right, ladies.
  • If you were bedridden, completely inactive, and consuming the same level of food you were while you were active, yes. I went through several periods of my life when I gained that much weight in that period. It's scary, but it's definitely possible.
  • I've messed around with a few different things! Quarter cup of almond milk - 15 calories (2 extra calories if you add 1/4 tsp of cinnamon, which i highly recommend :P) 1 tbs Hazelnut or French Vanilla sugar-free Coffee Mate creamer - 15 calories Or when I'm feeling like I want a treat, single serving cups of International…
  • I actually had an old boyfriend say "Where did your boobs go?!" the other day lmao. Down to a 36D from a 38DD, but it's apparently very noticeable. Ah, well, what can you do :P
  • Hahaha yes! I absentmindedly touch my collarbones a lot, because I couldn't feel them for most of my life. Also, my lower stomach is very flat now, and I kept touching it in public yesterday. A friend I was with actually mentioned that I was doing it, embarrassingly.
  • You're my favorite, and I am so, so proud of you. It makes me indescribably happy that you're my sister.
  • I would say as long as you feel good about it and have enough energy, keep going! Congratulations on the ten pound loss! :)
  • I had the same reaction to OP's post that pretty much everybody else did. However, it seems like 10 pages of people saying the exact same *****y things is overkill. If you read the first several pages, saw that people had already posted what you felt about it, and then proceeded to post an aggressive repeat of what they…
  • I think the style is sexy if you have the body to pull it off. Going shopping for one soon to see if I can make it work :P
  • I would just try to log as accurately as possible for a few weeks while continuing exercising. Use weight instead of cups, slices, rolls, breasts, etc. for solids to make sure that your intake is accurate. If you don't see results from your current course in a few weeks, then you can be sure that it's not just water…
  • I recently started prelogging, and I find that it gives me a better feeling of control over my day. If I know what I absolutely want to eat (planned dinner, special snacks I'm excited about) I can rough out my day around them. As long as I stay flexible, I don't have trouble. I did, at first, have some trouble when I would…
  • Huh, people really don't want to answer your question! When I'm cutting back for a few days I mostly just eat healthy sandwiches - for example, 2 slices of 35 calorie potato bread, 3 oz deli chicken, 15 grams miracle whip, maybe some mustard. Ends up at around 200 calories, and I'll have around 4 of those with a few big…
  • Almost exactly! I'm female 21 5'7" SW 326 CW 164 GW 155 :)
