Coming from an Apple Watch to the FR935, I prefer NOT having a touchscreen. The physical buttons work better & you're not liable to tap the wrong thing or have to worry about water registering false touches

You can definitely count me in on this! Last time was great and I got to meet and make a lot of new friends because of it. Plus, it's nice having the accountability as extra motivation.

Set my goal for 220 miles, mostly cycling as I prep for 30 days of biking in April. I'm going to incorporate some running too as I ease back into it.

Thanks @jemsurf I wasn't sure if I was going to make it after the doctor told me I had to take the week off from riding. Now to push it over the top the rest of this week! Also, I'll be attending a class at REI tomorrow evening so that I can possibly get back into running.

Nice project Jen!

My goal is at least 200 miles on the bike

I agree with @brandigyrl81. The FT7 is more than likely the most accurate, but just double check your battery, as a low battery can make for erratic readings.

I currently own a Polar H7 (use for swimming) and use the Scosche RHYTHM+ (optical HRM) for my daily workouts. I picked up the RHYTHM+ on the recommendation of DCRainmaker.com & it's been just as accurate as my H7.

Also, just FYI, I recently started a group for Polar users if you want to check it out http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/102409-polar-users

I typically just try to find the sport profile that fits best. If I can't find one, then I usually default to Other Indoor.

@dirtyflirty30 Jessie J's "Bang Bang" is such a catchy song... that entire album gets stuck in my head for days on end

I don't really have a favorite workout song. I'm in the mood for something different everyday, but it's hard to go wrong with some upbeat hip-hop or some electronic/house/dance music. There are even times when I'll throw on a podcast while I'm working out because I'm just weird like that.

@dirtyflirty30 welcome to the group!

Currently at 313 days.

landon065 I currently own a Polar M400 (and just upgraded to the V800) and must say that I have really enjoyed having it. The cost vs. benefit is definitely worth it and the battery life on it is great. I would definitely recommend it, especially since Polar is working on opening up their data to connect with other…

Hey, I use Polar products. I used to use the Loop, but have since moved to the M400 (and now V800). Follow me here: https://flow.polar.com/training/profiles/4643420

Glad you didn't get hurt, and even better that you finished your run  Now that my trainer has arrived, it's time for me to get busy. I signed up for a class at REI next month so that I can ease my way back into running. I haven't run much since high school, and most of that was on a basketball court.

I'm 32 (at least for another month or so) & have about 35 pounds to lose. Been a MFP user since last February & lost about 30 pounds last year. Feel free to add me. I try to log in daily & encourage all my MFP friends often  Oh yeah, I'm currently living in Spokane, WA

I'm new here, but looking forward to being a part of this group.

Well done! Keep up the good work!

I'm currently using a Nexus 5, Polar H7, and Pebble Steel to track my workouts. I'm using the Endomondo app on my phone (and a 3rd party Pebble app to show data on my watch). It's a really nice setup and is working quite well for me.

I don't know about on the iPhone, but it works fine on my Nexus 5.

Not in VA now, but was born there & spent the first half of my childhood there... that's where my family is from... I spent some time in Norfolk (and VA Beach & Newport News)

Congratulations! Keep up the hard work!

Hi all. I'm LaRosa and I'm from Spokane. Moved here a little over 1.5 years ago for work. Before moving here I was in a suburb of Austin, TX but originally from the North Carolina coast. Just looking to make some more local friends on here, so feel free to add me (but leave a message so I know how you found me).
