  • Sonds good!!
  • I would go with the machines at the gym .I'm guessing those machine was calculating your heart rate. They would be more accurate MFP overestimates for me all the time. I have a HR monitor and there is always a big difference where as the gym machines are just about the same as my HR.
  • I agree with a 10 min warmup then weights. Then a good cardio workout.
  • It may be for some but it certainly is not for me. I have a HR monitor. And I know everybody dose not have one. but when I did a comparison for me MFP was a good 100 calories off from what my HR monitor said.
  • I love the firm videos. I just bought the one with the resistance bands. Man it kicked my butt I had to take breaks during the workout and its only 1/2 hour. Great workout though.
  • Same here. This site has taken over facebook for me. Farmville what?
  • I say go for it. Unless your watching your carb intake. Some strawberries and some fat free cool whip you got yourself some strawberry shortcake. I love it my fave lo-cal dessert.
  • Check out iWorkout. Iphone Ipod app that changes the BPM on any song w/o distorting the music. So your not listening to the chipmunks if you speed up a slow song. I use it for walking it works pretty well on MOST music. I've only had 2 or 3 songs it would not convert I think I paid $4.99 for it .
  • Yes I just bought it a week ago so I've only done it twice. I like it so far.
  • If your strength training definitely after but you should always eat something light at least an hour to half hour before.
  • I have cardio trainer app as well as a HR monitor. Go by the HR monitor I only use cardio trainer for when I;'m on the track or walking on the trail outside the GPS tells me the distance and how many steps I take. I still use my HR monitor for accurate calorie burn.Cardio trainer is just an estimate. I'm sorry you paid so…

  • I would definitely go by the gym machine calculations than MFP thats just my opinion
  • I did a side by side comparison with MFP and my HR monitor and for me MFP is way off. I am too a big chick. For instance 45 minutes on the elliptical my HR monitor says I burn 548 cal and MFP says 1004 or walking 50 minutes at 3.0 pace HR monitor says 266 cals and MFP says 409 cals. So I think MFP overestimates calories. I…
  • If your not allergic nuts or all natural peanut butter are good healthy high calorie fillers. They are kinda high in fat but they are the good fats that your body needs Thats what I use when I'm low in calories.
  • Count me in I'm a HUGE and I mean HUGE HP fan:happy:

  • I love my HRM They can be kind of expensive but I think its worth it. I have a Polar FT7.I paid a little over $100 for it.It tells me how many calories I burn and stores up to 2 weeks worth of data along with other features. You can probably find an inexpensive one on Amazon or even on Ebay.I tell you I cannot work out…
