Agreed, this is a really good read. I think it's important to note that he recommends that everyone start out the same and then, when they get down to a look they're beginning to not prefer, change it up . . . but still keep lifting.

In your mouth, using food. Really, it depends on whether or not you have allergies, what your goal is for asthetics, is what you're doing working for you? If you are reaching your activity goals and your weight loss goals, then why change? There is no right or wrong general answer, only what works for you. I try to go for…

yes, you should definitely work your abs. When you lift, tuck your butt and tuck your gut, bam your abs are worked.

I've known my now husband since we were 12 (we're 36 this year). 10 years ago we watched the finale of my grandfathers life. A long time smoker, he had emphasema with related vascular issues, he spent 10 years laying in a bed because he didn't have the energy to move, my grandmother served him every day for those 10 years.…

Leave him alone. Live your lifestyle. If he complains about his weight and his look, tell him to do something about it. Men don't like to be fixed, men like to be fixers. When he complains he doesn't want you to give him a solution, he just wants to complain. Next time he complains ask him what he did to fix it, if he says…

I sweat like a *kitten* in church, there is no way I'd wear mine more than once. I have 10 - 15 sports bras, I sometimes wear up to 2 a day, depending on my workout schedule. If I exercise in the morning and again later in the day I wear 2 completely different outfits head to toe, I don't like to put wet clothes on my body.

1) Call your doctor and ask, we can't give you answers but he can. 2) Weight fluctuations can greatly impact period regularity. 3) You didn't received your period for a pretty decent time, your body needs time to reregulate and that may be what he's waiting for. 4) see number 1

Here's a really good tutorial: http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/training/back-extension-technique.html try it in the position, make sure you're doing straight back. It's difficult to both cross your arms and keep your shoulder blades drawn together, but that's what you ensure you're doing before you increase weight.

My husband doesn't understand my job and my job doesn't interest him, so I don't talk about my job. Actually, not talking about my job has made our relationship better because then I don't take the stress of my job home with me. I leave most of it at work and the rest of it at the gym. We had a discussion that he thought…

I've been the jerk in the gym, giving the 2 guys doing curls in the 2 squat racks flack for hogging up the squat racks (it burned by biscuits even more when I figured out they were lifting partners). Other then that, I've not been a jerk and I've not encountered a jerk. Mostly I get questions about my routine and inquiries…

Dont worry, I'm sure she's just deleting that account and opening a new one with a fresh start. She wouldn't be the first.

It would seem that someone just found the rest of the forums . . . or is having a bad day. Your perception is yours, but rememnber that it is yours. I make mfp what I want it to be, that's my responsibility. I'll be responsible for me, you be responsible for you, and if you don't like something you have 3 options: 1) close…

I'm offended, you didn't mention "good games"

1) I am not afraid of the weight room, or getting stared at. 2) You've indicated that you are uncertain how to use the equipment, I recommend a few sessions with a trainer to help you familiarize yourself with the equipment, and that you also make certain that you have a spotter to help you with squat form a couple of…

I had an allergist do a full panel on me a few years ago, it completely changed my life. By removing my top 2 food allergens I've managed to keep the overall swelling in my body down. I'm uncertain about a link to cholesterol and dietary allergies, but it's worth a shot, right?

have you tried cardio and a very low calorie diet? may help you with your obesity issue. If you need a shoulder to cry on . . . well . . .

I think the person who wrote that article is truely ugly. While weight is always an issue with starlets, so many of those pictures don't show enough to draw a conclusion on how fit the person is. WTF was wrong with RZ's beautifully defined back? Really, basing 50% of the pictures on whether or not you can see a bone in a…

Cookies, candy, chocolate, and cake I love these. It's funny because I didn't have an issue with cookies, candy, and cake until after I lost 25 pounds. I lost 25 pounds, I made my regular holiday treats (cookies, bars, chocolate covered pretzels), I gained 10 pounts in 2 weeks. For me it's not about misery, though, it's…

You know, I have a friend on here who I haven't make a good umbrella party in her who-ha joke about in a long time . . . I may need to rectify that soon.

No, just pointing out that there are virtues to both sides of this coin. Besides, kegels even everything out at the end of the day anyway, and should be a regular part of every girls routine. Without them build means nothing. And when I was paging through the pages and pages of "sponge bob thigh gap" google image search…
