Each time I went on birth control as a young woman I gained weight (5 the first time, 10 the second, 10 the 3rd). in each case it came on within 2 weeks. In each case when I came off I lost that same amount of weight within 2 weeks, I always figured it was water retention since my weight can fluctuate up to 5 pounds in a…

No, because it goes to show that no matter what your standard is, if all you're trying to do is lose weight it just comes down to calories in vs calories out AND the decisions YOU make (as companies do not put the food in your mouth). He set nutritional standards and had his students plan his meals in a way to meet those…

That is shocking and unbelievable . . . you had a veggie burger when there was beef on the menu?

um, you know that cookie is like the size of your face, right?

Never mistake curiousity for maturity, these two things are mutually exclusive. Children will always be curious, some adults aren't even mature. Same thing for puberty, puberty is hormonal and has no baring on maturity.

I do coffee, sweetner (not sugar), DoTerra Peppermint essential oil (1 drop per pot), and fat free milk. Tastes like a candy cane.

Shed the hate, embrace who you are, and then address your issues. I have found that a person's outside is a direct representative of how they feel on the inside. Build a new legacy of love, respect, and hope for yourself and your family. Start with a little step (literally) and go for a walk 3 days a week, replace soda…

Depends, is he standing up or laying down?

To the op: it depends on what you're looking for, peanuts are a good source of fats and dense calories, but that's about it. If you're looking to meet some sort of macro then making a switch to veggies, hummus, and flat bread is going to be a larger snack, but completely different when it comes to macros.

Timing is a different discussion that requires quantitative forcasting. I agree that a sudden hike of wages for this magnitude of workers would be detrimental to an already fragile economy, however if you're going to plan an increase over a long period of time you have to forcast for the expected movement of the economy…

However, minimum wage has not been adjusted at the same rate as the rest of the earning structure, so it's really more of an economic correction than an imbalance.

Indeed. As a person with an education in Accounting with some consideration toward Economics, Finance, and general logic I don't understand how this is such a conclusional leap for people. Everyone's position is tied in with everyone elses, we are in a living economic community regardless of what your stance. I've seen…

I'm torn on this point. I was reading this week that minimum wage hasn't increased for the rate of inflation, cost of living, etc at the same rate as most other pay structures making it impossible to keep up with the cost of living for unskilled and uneducated individuals and their families (and don't even get me started…

Why it's better to pick ANY other time of the year to make a defining decision in your life: A 2007 study by Richard Wiseman from the University of Bristol involving 3,000 people showed that 88% of those who set New Year resolutions fail, despite the fact that 52% of the study's participants were confident of success at…

Well, seeing as she probably can't even fit into the costume properly, all that lifting of the briefs back up from her ankles and turning the bodice back around to the front should at least get the guys into the theatre.

If you wake me from deep sleep you do so at your own detriment, I hear that while it's not a "real bone" it can still be broken.

lest her uterus falls out and her testosterone levels skyrocket so high that she starts to grow **** and balls as well as a 5 o'clock shadow . . . at 9 am. ****, that reminds me I need to go for my mid morning shave . . .

I would focus on lower body until your pt tells you what you can and can't do.
-
I agree. This is a lot of small snacks without actually eating a meal, and a lot of liquid calories. I would really analyze my food sources. Where is your food? I would also hazard a guess that your sodium levels are off the charts. Do you have special dietary restrictions (allergies? vegan, veg? etc?)
-
I need dietary fat to feel full, and without it I can eat and eat and feel empty 20 minutes later. Don't be afraid of dietary fat, dietary fat =/= body fat.
-
Your priorities and focus are off, making you an easy target. Doesn't seem to me you're confused at all.

my stomach doesn't have a large enough capacity for me to eat the amount of food that I want to eat, this makes me sad every year.

I started exercising when my sister in law (who is a fitness instructor) had such easy pregnancies and labors. I thought to myself "I want some of that." So, a year later I became a step instructor, then a pump instructor, now just general group ex (with still the first 2). I always thought "I eat pretty good, and…
