We always go with option 3, no hurt feelings, some times it just doesn't happen. Meh, whatever. We've had times when we've both been so exhausted that we both fell asleep still joined and then woke up later and picked up where we left off just to give up half way through. Tired happens, after 10 years were comfortable with…

I think he likes to mix it up sometimes. What may seem like a good idea in the movies is sometimes only a good idea in the movies.

Pretty much that. If I don't get off I don't act like I did. I figure he's going to know either way. Hell, if what he's doing isn't working I don't want to give him the false sense of security that it is . . . he might think it's a good idea next time too. He knows I'll get down there and do my job right if he gets down…

Seriously, stop blaming him. If you want things to change, then change it. Suggest places to go, don't order the ice cream, cook dinner for him (I hear men like that sort of thing), make better decisions when you're out, make different decisions when you're not together. Be responsible for yourself.

When I lift my sessions are front ended with a larger muscle group and my warm up is lighter to heavier sets of that, so don't judge based on what you think is acceptible warm up. As far as shuffling around, I suppose I'd need more information, but I workout in a small gym and a large gym. The large gym is nice, but at the…

Or, apparently, his body positioning. I do feel bad for him, but I have to wonder if he yelled "oh *kitten*" as he was thrown back.

Looks pretty solid to me.

QTF. I'll take any of these over a hot chick any day: [img[http://cdn04.cdn.socialitelife.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/celebrity-six-packs-photos-03202009-13-580x435.jpg[/img] and this I would not only friend, but also lick head to toe: But hey, that's just me.

If you have a planet fitness near you go talk to them about personal training, you may be able to do it there without getting a membership, just the training sessions. Really, talk to any other gym about it, again you may be able to get the training sessions without the membership.

Walking is great Lift some stuff up and down to preserve lean mass as you lose. Elliptical (low impact so this is nice for moving faster) water walking/running water aerobics classes zumba or other cardio dance whatever you do, have fun doing it, and don't be discouraged by others. I've been on these forums long enough to…

This is always my best piece of advice. When you start out, if you can afford it, buy a few sessions with a personal trainer. Explain up front that you don't want to use all the sessions at once, and as you hit each of the first couple of stages set up appointments with them to go through the moves to make certain you're…

Those are some impressive results!! You're going to have to be careful as you get closer to your wedding, you're going to cost yourself some serious dough in alterations.

If you can't modify your gym time, the words "hey, do you mind if I work in?" will get you far. I sometimes take long breaks between sets, as long as weight adjustments aren't difficult (moving a pin, adding or taking of weights, handing dumbbells back and forth) I never mind a work in. I've met some pretty cool people…

Based upon this I suggest the OP 1 - get a dog, or if they already have a dog 2 - improve their relationship with their dog. Maybe if you focus more on you and less on others? If the person is struggling to lose weight it's not because of 30 - 50 calories for a dog walk, it's a lot of other reasons (under estimating food…

I'd remove the electronics for a while. I don't see anything wrong with paying her to run if it's going to help her in the long run with her spine, however if you don't find another way to motivate her either she'll loose interest again or you'll go broke. You have to find a way to motivate her, otherwise it's not a…

I'm certain that someone has said this already, but NO! :noway:

Every little bit helps. Hopefully 12 minutes will turn into 20 minutes will turn into 30 minutes, but every little bit helps. Don't nag him, encourage his, and as this 12 minutes gets easier hopefully that will encourage him to take it to the next level.

My husband is 5'10" and his "fighting" weight when he was a lean mean swimming machine was 196 (hold on a second, I need to drool over the cut he had in his build). Moving on You say you accept him how he is, but you want to change him. You say you aren't a hypocondriac, but you wake in the middle of the night to ensure…

Wow . . . that is just wow. You look amaze-ballz!!

Getting a handle on your consumption starts with planning, thinking it through before hand. When I'm hungry I reach for the closest thing, so I make sure I know in advance what that closest thing is. When I stop planning everything else goes haywire.

I exercise: 1) to save lives, if I didn't have a release I'd go ballistic about 3 times a week 2) to have fun 3) to feel accomplished 4) to be challenged 5) to set a good example for my son 6) to sleep better at night 7) i lift because a) cellulite and b) so that waving isn't a full arm experience 8) I cardio because: food

What a ****! You should have given him a ball slap on pull up number 3.

Pretty much this. My nickname at work (I work with mostly men) is "guns." When I eat sushi I have a co-worker who will inevitably bring me a fork because he feels bad for me "no one should ever have to eat with sticks." I also get comments when I hit up the candy dish, because they know that I am the biggest offender but…

I'm addicted to weights and I'm gearing up for my 3rd TM coming up in November! I also like to stare at the beautiful women . . . Man those thighs, I got to get lean again! T minus 90 minutes to lower body session!

I eat 1 whole + 1 egg white with cheese in a tortilla every morning during the week. Anything else and I'm hungry 10 minutes later. Two weekends ago I had onions, peppers, sausage, pulled pork, chili, and cheese all messed up with 3 eggs . . . ummm, meat. This past Saturday I had 2 eggs over easy (I like over easy eggs…

It's a shame for anyone to be dishonest with the person they're with and the person they're courting (if they're two different people). This isn't a men's problem, this is a person's problem. Advice? I'm not even certain why you're looking for advice, I would think the answer is obvious . . . **** his brains out, take a…

And this is why people should always take weekly progress pics . . . your minds eye takes about 6 months to catch up with your actual progress (it's also the reason that people all of a sudden realize they've put on weight . . . our preception is flawed). Taking comparatives really puts it in perspective! What awesome…

That just sounds disgusting. If you want an assault on your tastebuds then have the DoTerra metabolic Blend . . . at least that will make your breath smell better.
