  • as of 34+1, I've gained 30 lbs
  • On Sunday i'll have 6 weeks left. I've had a scare or two already where I thought she may be coming early and it was totally surreal. I want her to be here, but when I was actually in the hospital (thought my water broke) I was like "Omg! It's too soon!!"
  • I see a bunch of different OB's and Midwives af my office. One OB said 25-30lbs and a midwife said no more than 25.. Right now i'm sitting at 25.2 lbs gained and i'm 33+4. I'm guessing i'll probably gain another 5-10 lbs before the baby, so that means i'll gain hopefully no more than 35. I am starting to swell a lot , so…
  • I had to stop wearing my wedding ring at about 7.5 months. My E ring, and two wedding bands are soldered together so it was getting impossible to get off. I decided to stop wearing it before it go stuck! I'm wearing a pretty band my of my mom's (she has much bigger fingers than me) but I noticed this morning, that even…
  • yes to the constantly swollen feet!!! I had to ask my doctor to write me a note so that I could wear sneakers for the rest of my pregnancy.
  • The latest thing i've found with my hubby is that he want's to be "understanding" and to look good to others (opens car doors and such for me in public) but when we are at home, he doesn't want to help me without complaining. It's enraging. This week we are staying at my mom's house while she is on vacation and the laundry…
  • I dont' think a lot of people get it, but pregnancy can be VERY lonely. Even for the mother who is growing the child. My husband has a lot of growing up to do ( I commented on the link on your page, so I won't get into it here) and he's been really difficult with certain aspects of this. In the beginning he didn't believe…
  • I hope so too Suzanne! I have quite a few symptoms of it, and have had to call my OB twice during their closed hours. Today my BP was high again 150/79 and they made me wait to take it again before they'd let me leave. I was supposed to go back in two weeks, but now I have to go back next friday. I have a feeling these…
  • Tigger- I'm sure that's what it is! but I didn't do a single strenuous thing this morning! I walked from my car into work and that's all it seemed to take. SO annoying. I'm not too uncomfortable all the time, but this past weekend the baby was so far up in my ribs, I couldn't lean forward! My DH and I were at dinner and I…
  • I'm excited for the hospital tour! Our is 5/18! just a little over a month away from my due date (6/22)
  • Sounds like you both have babies that dropped! I hear you become a little more comfortable after that happens!! I bought myself a pregnancy pillow and my sleep and hips/back have been feeling much better, but i've been dealing with blood pressure issues. My doctors don't think it's too bad yet, but i'm worried that each…
  • I still have about 7 weeks left and i'm pretty sure baby has NOT dropped. I feel a lot of "mass" up by my ribs still, but have no idea what position the baby is in. 52 days left!
  • I have a little under 8 weeks to go.. I've gained 25 but already had 10 lbs I wanted to lose, so i'm looking at probably 40 lbs by the time baby is born!! Feel Free to add me!
  • Up 25.2 lbs as of today (32+1) .. passed the 25 lbs I wanted to gain.. now trying to keep under 35 lbs.
  • We have a Infant Care Class in May, and then a Prepared Childbirth Class in June that's about 4 hours long. These are the only classes we are taking.
  • 31+3 today.. constant hunger, back pain, rib pain, cannot sleep at night, heartburn, and reflux.
  • <yesterday at 31 weeks even
  • As of 31 weeks, I've gained 23.8 lbs. My goals now are to start walking more, and keeping sugar to a minimum!!!
  • I'm up 23.8 at 31 weeks. I really want to slow this down a bit. This weekend was our babymoon and I gained 2.5 lbs.. We walked so much, but I know I didn't drink enough water. My doctor told me at my appointment on Friday to avoid sugar like the plauge. I've been eating SO MUCH sugar, so this is my next challenge.
  • Cleaneater - it sounds like you are doing very well. 15 lbs at 33 weeks is really good!
  • Unfortunatley, my gains are never just 1lb per week.. so... I think staying under 30 is unlikely =[
  • As of 30+1, i've gained 21 lbs. Was hoping to stay under 25lbs total, but I dout that will happen.. think 35 may be a bit more reasonable.
  • As of 30+1, I've gained 21 lbs. need to start walking and CUT BACK on the sugar. I've been eating so much crap lately.
  • I prefer to run my races alone. I do longer races (half marathons and marathons) and I prefer to be in my own world, and not worrying about keeping someone elses pace. I used to run wtih my ex boyfriend and it usually just eneded up in one of us holding back when we could have done better. You truly aren't really alone in…
  • I've had the same Garmin Forerunner 205 watch for years. It's been awesome for me.. Even after being several years old, it still lasts for 4+ hours on my long runs. I only paid $105 for mine new several years ago. Not all Garmin's are expensive.. just the ones with all the bells a whistles. I just wanted one that told me…
  • Agree with everyone else. The best advice I ever got when I first started runnning was SLOW DOWN. Most beginners try to run entirely too fast, leaving them exhuasted and frustrated. You should be to talk. If you can't, slow down even more. Running takes time, and work. I'm now running marathons.. just slow down. =]
  • The entire left side of my body fell asleep last night from laying on my left side. I got up to go to the bathroom and my leg/hip was completely numb!
  • Our little girl's name is going to be Harper Grace.
  • At 29 weeks, I've gained 20.2. I'm a little scared how far it will go from here. I am only to gain 25-30 and I still have 11 weeks left. Hoping the weight gain slows down a little bit from here.
  • Last time I ran was at 3+6, 3 days after finding out I was pregnant. I ran a marathon at 3+6 and then my morning sickness kicked in RIGHT after that until week 17. At that point, I was already out of breath and figured I'd reusme running after the baby came. I'm trying to walk more, but I've not been too sucessful.
