I've been going through the same thing. :/ I've just been keeping in mind why I started. I also try to be as disciplined (nutrition wise) as I was in the beginning.

I need to lose about 70 lbs myself. Adding you! Anyone else is more than welcome to add me as well.

1. Never apologize for your English. It's a tough language, and the fact that you have such a good grasp on it considering it's not your first language is very impressive. 2. You look great! Keep it up!

You should find something that you enjoy doing. For me, that means Zumba. It's my main form of cardio, and I love it because it doesn't even feel like a workout. I suggest trying something other than walking on a treadmill for an hour. There are so many other fun things you can do like cycling outside, swimming,…

Mr. Incredible. Mine should be a very easy one smh. lol

I say go for it! Zumba may be marketed to women, but it's something that anyone can do and have fun with. Personally, I do Zumba 5x a week, and 2 of those classes are taught by a guy! I love it - it's so much fun and you can burn ALOT of calories. Plus, I'm sure you'll be able to pick up some of the basics of salsa,…

Don't do it. Hell no.

Wow, you are just as beautiful now as you were before! I don't think you should be scared to post any full body pic, cause your body is banging! Lol congratulations on all your hard work. :)

You have to figure out what works for your body (listen to it. If you need a rest day every other day, then do so), BUT working out everyday is not recommended. Personally, I workout 4-6 times a week and I've been doing just fine. :)

I love Zumba! I started doing the DVDs in mid January, and in February I joined the gym to do the classes there (with an occasional Body Combat or Body Pump class here and there). I started at over 300 lbs and am now down to about 281. I work hard in Zumba, so it works. :)

No need to dwell anymore. What you need to do is focus on yourself - that means going the extra mile to buy smarter meal choices, and working out whether your friend joins you or not. Weight loss is one of those things where if you REALLY want it to happen, then you have to for real make up your mind to do so. I think you…

I stopped tracking because like others have mentioned before, it can make you obsessive and it's hard to do with homemade food. I've been able to lose weight just fine without doing it. What I do is just make smart choices and exercise. Pretty easy.

I'm always open to new friends. :) Got a long road ahead of me as well.
-
Congrats on your lifestyle change! Long as you eat right and exercise, those lbs will come right on off. Best of luck to you!
-
"Butthurt"? Lol you real wack boo. Ya'll have fun.
-
LMAO ya'll are so lame. My concerns are genuine, but if clowning me for it OVER THE INTERNET makes you feel good, then go right ahead. Thanks for the help to everyone though, including you wack folks. :)
-
Ya'll have no chill.
-
Interesting. Thanks for all the help everyone. Really hope it isn't pregnancy...

The class is amazing! I feel so empowered after. Each time I go, my conditioning improves. :)

1. Accept the skin that you're in RIGHT NOW. Self love is important on this weight loss journey, as you won't get your "dream" body overnight. Learn to love yourself. 2. I agree with one of the previous posters in that you need to make up your mind that this is a lifestyle change, not a diet. Diets are usually miserable…

I'm not a dancer either. But Zumba is so fun! Like everyone else, I'd recommend a class (depending on the instructor, it can be so much fun and high energy!). But if you're truly more interested in the DVDs, I'd say go for any of them. I have Exhilarate at home, and it's pretty great for learning Zumba basics.
