I've just taken up running, and the first week was so uncomfortable in my non running trainers. I had to take a week off. I went to a running shop, spent more than what I have ever spent on a pair of trainers and my knees thank me for it. They are the ugliest pair of trainers I have ever owned.. But they are awesome. Well…

I finished the 30 day shred last Thursday. But I have been doing level 3 each day since I am on holiday (cruise) I think I will start ripped in 30 when I am back. I dont have any results here with me. Will have to do that when I'm back. Good luck everyone. Work out hard!!
-
Me too. Still nursing my ankle back so having to do adjustments. I can see myself continuing this level.
-
It has been awhile since I posted. Im on day 8 level 3. Can't believe I am almost finished. I have sprained my ankle on a night out so having to do low impact at the moment
-
Day 2 level 3 complete. I really like this level.
-
Just finished level 3 day 1. I actually really enjoyed it. Was tough, but it is just more exciting!
-
Help? Please?
-
Finished level 2. I'm a day behind schedule. Had to take a day off because injured wrist, and the walk in pushups were quite difficult. Anyway, Level 3 tomorrow. No weight loss. Couple more inches loss
-
Day 7 level 2. I almost took today as a rest day.
-
Day 6 level 2 completed this morning.
-
Day 5 of level 2 finished.
-
Day 14 finished or level 2 day 4 finished. I also did level 1 today because I didn't make it to the gym today.
-
Definitely agree with that. That's what I've been doing. Thanks.
-
It is a struggle, and I'm trying my best. I might do more than 10 days at level 2. For now, day 2 level 2 finished.
-
I've read somewhere that sometimes their 'week' is longer than an actual week.
-
Level 2 day 1. My love for Jillian Micheals has disappeared. Walking pushups? Plank? AHHHH!!!!
-
Day 10 completed. I'm scared for tomorrow!!
-
I do shred in the morning, and normal gym activities after work. I do the 30 day shred every day, but take Thursday and Saturday off from the gym.
-
Day 9 finished.

It will depend on your current weight. I don't have a HRM, but I too push more than 100% and I don't think I'd count it anymore than 200 calories. (Ps I'm terrible about recording calories, anyone looking at my diary would think I'm starving myself)
-
Push ups have become easier. I do body pump twice a week, and have been able to keep up there as well with the push ups.. If I only lose inches and gain endurance and strength, I'll be happy.
-
Definitely mind over matter, I have realised this for myself recently. Fantastic health progress.

Is this supposed to be running outside or for the treadmill? I just bought new shoes, but actually opted for shoes mostly for training and running on the treadmill at the very most. I have just introduced a 5K run 3 times a week. (Mon, Wed, Fri) I've only done last Friday, and today.
-
I plan to do 5K on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Not sure what the couch to 5K challenge is, will look it up. RE: 30 DS finished day 8
-
Per hour? For the 25 minutes I'd reckon it'd be a lot closer to 300 at the very most.
-
I had a work related lower back strain and swimming really helped.
-
I'll be starting day 7 in a little while. I guess my body likes it because I wake up at 6:30 automatically now.

Well done on your weight loss so far. They say the stomach is about 80% nutrition and 20% fitness. And for many people the last thing to go. Keep up with your weight loss journey. (I'm a person that would suggest perhaps eating more if you're always below a comfortable calorie target)
-
I think the primary interest is building muscle, increasing strength. Weight loss is a bonus. I haven't lost anything at all, while some have dropped some weight over this past week. Depends on the person I would have thought.
