I pretty much agree with everybody here. It looks like you're doing great but I would look to eat some more calories. Especially since it looks like you're doing some good workouts. Are you using mfp calculations for workout calories or do you have a hrm to get the exact number? If you're using the mfp calculation is safe…

I hate the uber meat heads. the ones that waddle around the gym flexing, chit chatting with their buddy, not working hard. There's one that lives at the squat machine. He has to grunt loud enough for me to hear across the gym with my headphones. then slam the bar back down on the machine. Really buddy? Do one less rep and…

I'm looking forward to getting rid of the washing machine. :)

I take GNC pro amp 60 chocolate protein. I take one scoop in the morning with my oatmeal to give it better taste then I take two more scoops with water and two vitamins as close to the end of my workout as possible. I get 60 grams of protein from it with a small amount of calories and it tastes pretty good. I'm thinking…

You should be checking the sugar in your peanut butter not the fat. Peanuts have lots of unsaturated fats in them which are awesome for your body. The organic stuff is great because there's more of them and less sugar. Don't worry about too much unsaturated fat. Odds are you couldn't eat enough of the stuff that has them.

Ok i get it thanks guys but still if im been told i need 1,200 without exercise to lose 2lb a week but then like today i exercise and it adds an extra 599 cals what exactly should i be eatting???it says 1,799 but surely if i want to lose weight i should eat that amount,i dont have a lot to lose i actaully lost over 12st…

Eat the whole pack. Almonds and other nuts have lots of good unsaturated fats in them and are well worth it. If you're worried about the extra 50 calories a little something else out.

I log my vitamins because MFP tracks all my nutrients. even though I don't see them effect my food diary since I have other categories visible.

sounds like I'm not the first one to point out that deli meat is absolutely horrible. stay away. on a side note. If the only thing that went wrong in my day was improperly sliced meat I'd call that a good day every time. take a deep breath. things could be worse.

can you just cook up a whole bunch of chicken/turkey and portion it out to microwave and eat at the library? If you cook it all at once it'll be ready for you to grab out of the fridge in the morning and take with you, then you can put it in the fridge there and eat it when you need to. You can even cook up some brown rice…

I would just make do for two weeks then. The protein powder will not make "buff" lol unless you want to be. It will just help feed your muscles. More muscles burn more calories. When strength training you'll want to focus on moderate weight and 10-12 reps in sets of 3 or 4. Using less weight in higher rep counts per set…

all duly noted. I would still go for breakfast. I used to sleep in and skip it. Now I'll never go back. While you're right about not working out on a full stomach, its worse to work out on an empty stomach. You're energy will plumet and you won't be able to go to your max potential. You should be eating a small meal of…

not trying to be mean but this might sound mean so be warned. First, stop eating out ever day basically, its not the calories that are getting you, its the other crap in all that stuff, taco johns, taco bell, quiznos, subway, four days in a row. stop it. second, start drinking at least 4-6 cups of water per day. third,…

That's an awesome deal! I wish I could get something like that.

I pay 60 a month for me and the lady. It sounded like a lot 8 weeks ago but the results I've seen are priceless. I wish I spent it years ago. We had to sign a 12 month contract but it only takes $25 to break it anytime, plus I can suspend the whole membership or half it in 1 month chunks for up to 3 of the 12 months and…

I shoot for an hour per day but usually miss a day and make that time up over the rest of the days so I'll say 7 hours per week. Once it warms up more I'll add more time on the bike though.

I aim to work out seven days a week because I know I'll lose one day to unexpected plans, oversleeping, laziness or any other factory. Then with the other six days I rotate between heavy cardio and light lifting to heavy lifting and light cardio. This gives my muscles time to recover between workouts so I'm not doing the…

try eating breakfast in the morning. Something wholesome and filling like oatmeal. then between breakfast and lunch snack on a few almonds and drink at least 4 glasses of water. It's easy to mix up thirst with hunger. I usually feel hungry mid way through the morning but I big drink from my water bottle takes care of it.…

I don't know about some of those. I enjoy going through the aisles and looking at things I can't have. Sometimes I'll even toss them in the cart and haul it around until I feel guilty and put it back. The other day I was really craving smores pop tarts. So I quick looked at the label and threw it back on the shelf like it…

There's really no easy road that won't take longer to see results. I had a good time with p90x but some days can go up to 90 minutes for the day. It works well though and Tony is bearable. You've got to commit to something and do it. The easier things will be just that. Easier. They may work but they'll take a lot longer.…

I really hope that giving some girl in a club the middle finger isn't your motivation for having a healthy life. You need to find a more wholesome reason. Otherwise what'll happen after you finally flip that girl off? I'm not saying it isn't good material but do it for yourself first and not primarily for that reason.

Black is very slimming. I always feel great when I wear it.

I didn't used to be an emotional eater but I LOVED snacking. I've gotten rid of most of the bad snacks around the house and only have a few left. Just throw it away and you won't have a problem. You could try keeping it in the fridge so it melts, then if you want it you can put it in the freezer until it freezes and have…

as much as we'd all like to add that kind of stuff you really shouldn't. If you do I would set it at maybe around 100 calories or so. It's really kind of built into daily activity.

Well the six pack is also my reward. I want to have a better looking body. I can feel the muscles hiding under there. I just need to lose about 30 more pounds to find them. My personal goal is a century ride on my bike.

mine is a little different and more for her than for me. If I make my goal of getting six pack abs I agreed to shave my chest and stomach area for her. But not a day sooner

meh, I always take my shake, shower, then eat dinner. It isn't amazing tasting but i've eaten worse things. cough*broccoli*cough. Just think about what it'll do and chug it. It'll be gone before you know it.

That doesn't sound like a healthy and realistic plan to me. I would shoot for about 20-25 pounds by then. Eating right, strength training, cutting out useless snacks and soda will help along with some cardio but to really have a positive effect on your overall health and wellbeing you have to take it relatively slow and do…

it would be easier to ween yourself off it for a week or so. I went off soda a few months ago but I've been off caffeine for years. It's tough to quit. Took me three days and the worst headaches I've ever had. Now that I'm off I stay off and slip up maybe once a year for a littler dr. pepper cause that stuff is just…

MFP will handle it all. Enter your workout, everything you eat (including supplements) and just follow along. Though personally I think the protein levels seem low. I'm always way over but I get an extra 60 grams from my shakes every day. Plus I've been eating lots of lean meat (turkey and chicken) every day. MFP will take…
