Goodnight guys! Sorry to derail this post.
-
At any rate, I'm adding more food to my diet to increase the net calorie count so I can build muscle.
-
I take stimulants for ADHD and depression. I have TOO MUCH energy as it is.
-
No, I'm not. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutrition

No, I'm not. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutrition
-
Yes, that is literally all I'm doing. A 60 minute workout and a few laps. The thing is, the foods I eat are very low on calories but highly nutritious.
-
Thanks for clarifying that for me. I read this article, and I think it might disagree with what you are both saying, but I'll take your input into consideration. http://fitlife.tv/nutrients-vs-calories-do-you-know-the-difference/
-
I'm not over exorcising to burn calories, I do a 60 min aerobics workout and maybe some laps in the pool. That's hardly over exorcising.
-
You're right, and I eat more than enough calories to meet the requirements for fat, carbohydrates, protein, etc. it's just that the exorcising I do lowers the net calories at the end of the day, not the nutrients.
-
Thanks for replying without accusing me of being anorexic or calling me a crazy b*tch for simply asking for advice and defending my opinions. I've been reading about nutrition online and apparently, caloric intake isn't part of nutrition. Nutrition includes several things like fat, carbohydrates, macronutrients, fiber,…

Lol, I'm not here to teach you how deeply ingrained misogyny influenced your behaviors on this forum today, and I'm sure you'll never figure it out, so I'm just going to leave it at that.
-
I'm not encouraging anyone to do anything, so, shut up. Women can be misogynists too...just sayin'
-
Had I been a man, this conversation would have played out very differently, and I certainly wouldn't have been called anorexic or a crazy b*tch. You do the math.
-
You said I was anorexic and another bro called me a 'pro ana crazy *****.' So much for not being antagonized. Thanks for the advice, ****ers.
-
I studied feminism among other things in grad school 'funkypunk87' *patsyourhead*
-
Someone has already suggested strength training to me to build muscle, but thanks. You could have easily done the same without attacking my character.
-
Wow, you guys are really starting to antagonize me. Grow up and quit being such misogynists. I eat right, I just need to eat more because of the exorcise I do. But even then, I'd still be healthy and I'm NOT anorexic.
-
That's the thing - I'm NOT eating 500 calories a day. My net calorie at the end of the day is just close to that because of the exorcise I do.
-
You implied it like you're implying I don't eat right and am not nourished. You're wrong. The issue isn't the calories, it's the exorcise! And I already said I'd eat more to make up for what I lost because of my exorcise, but I'm still not convinced its necessary.
-
I could do without the accusations of anorexia, thanks. On most days, if I wasn't exorcising, I'd be meeting the 1200 calorie mark.
-
Why do you assume I'm not getting enough fiber? I eat three meals a day, take fiber pills and a whole other host of vitamins and minerals in addition to the SUPER nutritious, low calorie foods I eat.
-
I ate nearly 1000 calories today, but thanks for being a huge misogynist and accusing me of being pro ana. Your opinion is obviously really important to me.
-
So I guess the issue comes down to calories and not actual nutrition. I have loads of energy and a sped up metabolism because of the meds I have to take so....I'll consume more calories, but to be honest, I don't think it's imperative for my health as I'm already meeting and often exceeding the nutritional requirements set…
-
The issue isn't disordered eating, it's making up for the calories I lose because of the exorcise I do. Maybe you should reread my post...or not.
-
Lol AJ! I read and took your advice seriously, but I AM meeting my nutritional needs! It's just that I exercise too much or something.
-
Hey snugglesmacks, please read the post I made earlier and tell me what you think. I'm meeting and often exceeding my nutritional needs but netting at around 544 calories a day because of the exercise I do. Any thoughts??
-
Strength training is a really good idea, I was looking into that earlier. And I probably could push through and not binge eat or crash because the medications I take for ADHD and depression give me tons of energy and suppress my appetite to the extent that I have make myself eat even though I'm not hungry. But yeah, I'll…
-
By the way, I take medications for ADHD and depression that are both stimulants that suppress my appetite, so I don't really get cravings or anything.
-
Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of, being under the 1000 mark. It's just the exercise that's lowering my count so drastically. I guess I should just eat more to make up for all the exercise I do.
-
Thanks, Larro, I'll look into that.
