  • You are doing fantastic! 2 pounds in two weeks is great. That's all I lost. I am averaging about a pound a week. Logging my food and exercise here has helped me more than anything. My doctor just tells me to eat plenty of protein. I like fruits and vegetables a lot so I eat a lot of them. I don't eat low carb, but I try to…
  • Which Under Armor bra? http://www.underarmour.com/shop/us/en/womens/apparel/sports-bras?cid=PS|google|Sitelinks|US|IP|Sitelinks|s-AllWomen%27sSportsBras|82nenWYL&gclid=CjkKEQjwlcSdBRD3wva3-KOAo80BEiQAjNIhidXafI0CGF1ZLjheYR4Oez0A2mvEPv2e_-Br8bxlc6Pw_wcB LOL on not just a little :) I thought I was a 38 B; that's what I was…
  • Guess what? I ended up going to Walmart and tried on a whole bunch of bras. I got two realty cute medium compression ones. Some of you said to get another one to wear on top of it. I'll get that next. Just happy to find bras that fit and are comfy!
  • I am so glad to hear you have a doctor who is helping you. It makes such a difference. And are you logging food and exercise here? It sure keeps me honest. I don't want to see that I scarfed down a bunch of cookies on paper, so I don't eat them. You are doing great!
  • Bad news. The bra I bought hurt my trapezius muscles. I didn't know what that area was called, so I looked it up. Anyways, I am talking about the place where my shoulders meet my neck, on my upper back. I was tugging and adjusting all class, and finally took it off and didn't give a hoot who saw what was going on under my…
  • Hey Scuba, don't even bother talking about it in these forums. If you are interested, you can message me for where you can discuss it freely. June
  • HAHAHA, I know what you mean about the black eye. I went from about a 34B to around a 40D!!!! And they say you lose weight nursing. Not me, I gained weight. What do you guys think of the one I got? (previous page). Is it a good one?
  • Oh wow, now there is MORE for me to check out. I didn't realize there were so many good sports bras! Thanks for all the help on this. I ended up getting this one. Champion C9 high support.…
  • Thanks for all the suggestions!!! I am going to look up all the bras you said. Right now I am just wearing a regular underwire one; the sports bras I tried didn't seem to have much in the way of support. The compression ones, are they bad for you, long term? And boys, please, isn't there a jock strap thread you can hang…
  • The loopy lightheaded thing should go away in a couple of days. Also not being able to sleep, and being jittery. If not, I would say to go see your doctor. I am still hungry, it's just easier on Phentermine to make good eating decisions. I am not on any particular diet. I am just eating a lot of vegetables and fruits. I…
  • I tried on some Jockey Brand at the store, and the racerback hurt the area by my neck.
  • The Queen's wave :( I am doing as many tricep exercises as I can. I don't know if they are helping, but at least I feel the muscles working. I have been using FitnessBlender videos (on YouTube) called Tank Top Arms. There is a part one and a part two. And since I have a short attention span they are perfect for me. Ten…
  • Joining this post because I want to start lifting, and I have a back injury. Please friend me or message me if you want to :)
  • Destiny, please don't take this the wrong way, but how do you know that someone you don't know personally would send you something safe? I really recommend you get it from a doctor. If you only have a few pounds to lose, I don't think a doctor would give it to you. It's really a tool for people that are fairly overweight.
  • It's been very effective for me. It's a combination of Phentermine and logging my food and exercise here. The first time I posted on this thread, March 19, I weighed 149. Now I weigh 131.
  • I'll join that group too, thanks. I need strength training videos for people with bad backs.
  • Arden, I don't think a doctor would give it to you if you only have 14 pounds to lose. They have some kind of guidelines; not sure if it is BMI or what. I know you have to be either obese or pretty far up there on the overweight side. Like idojpdex, I also see a doctor who specializes in this field. I know some people buy…
  • I am over my calories most of the time and still losing weight. My diet clinic doctor said that I am still losing weight because the quality of the food I eat is good.(Lots of fruit and vegetables, nuts, not much processed food.)
  • Well said, ido. But don't waste your breath, if you know what I mean. If you talk about taking diet pills here, the only thing you can do is defend it. It's not even worth your time. I can't remember, did you join the FB group? If not, it's a place you can ask questions, discuss concerns, etc. Most of all be free of this…
  • Beautiful story. Beautiful pictures. You inspire me. That we all can be whatever we want to be. When we decide to be that way. Then we can apply ourselves. To be and to have exactly what we want in life.
  • Really interesting! "My doctor explained that for many obese patients the medication helps balance the brain and that is why it works well for some. It is not about "will power" - it actually helps the person feel "normal" for the first time in their life." I feel so much better when I am on Phentermine. I told my doctor…
  • Prescription diet pills do indeed work. It is best go to a diet clinic where they do blood work, an EKG, and take your blood pressure each month in addition to giving you nutritional counseling. Eating too much at night after dinner was my problem too. Now I don't have that problem. Posting your food and exercise on this…
  • Hi Griss, I am also taking Phentermine. It makes me uneasy to see you are on 900 calories. I know that if I went on a 900 calorie a day diet, I would quickly get tired of it and give up.
  • DM, going off Phen is difficult. The doctor I am seeing now weans patients off of it for six months. I am really glad. The problem when I took it before, was exactly as you said. I went right back to my bad eating habits. Also, I never counted calories before. Now I am logging my food into this site, and my exercise. It…
  • No that is not what I mean A Bariatric Physician is just a weight loss doctor. (I thought it was a surgeon too!). My doctor offers this injection to all her patients that go to the clinic. I have asked people in the waiting room why they get this injection. They say "It gives me energy." I got the injection once. The gal…
  • I don't understand why my bariatric physician offers them. In fact it's included in the price of my monthly visit. I tried it one time; the gal that gave it to me stabbed me with it. I didn't see the point of taking it anyways. I don't get them anymore. But I know a lot of my doctor's patients come in once or twice a week…
  • What do you think of the Polar FT60? Just looking at the reviews on it now.
  • Thanks for that! Very helpful.
  • Is it the type you wear across your chest? My doctor had said those are the best. I am looking to get one too.
  • I don't like the taste of any of the brands. The yogurt I get at the Greek market is not marked. It's sold in those clear plastic containers like the ones potato salad come in. I asked, and found out it is Krinos. Most of the brands have powdered milk and pectin in them. I was surprised to see Krinos is the only yogurt…
