I did it once about 12 years ago, no idea how much weight but I went from a size 20 to a 10 and never got any loose skin. Perhaps because I was 17 at the time.

Because of all the cardio, I'm all set to walk the eight miles to work when our transit company possibly goes on strike.

Today, it mostly said "ouch" and distracted the heck out of me. I personally blame the butt blaster pilates. And the elliptical is fun, but I find it to be too bouncy to keep my eye on the words. Treadmills and stationary bikes are nice for studying.
