This is probably a much better way of doing it then my way.

Try weighing something you know to be a certain weight like say a new bag of dog/cat food. If its supposed to weigh 10 lbs or whatever, weigh it on each scale... go with the one that matches the weight of the bag of whatever it is your weighing.

@ lemurcat12, yeah I was going to end up just using the USDA numbers. @JohnnyPenso, LOL! I can't believe an Artichoke only is 120grams! While my food diary isn't that exciting, I try to change my dinner meals up with different vegetables.

"White" food... Bread, rice, noodles, tortillas etc and processed foods. Hard as hell but its what works for me.

I struggle with being home too. Fortunately I've gotten rid of the "bad" in the fridge and cabinets. If possible for you, what I do is when I find I'm getting the munchies for something I grab the dog and we go for a walk or I leave the dog at home too. Hot lemon water curbs my cravings also. Hang in there, you dot this!

I had mine open for awhile but the comments on how I eat less than 1000 calories a day was getting old. I eat a lot of good food during the day and it works for me. Why comment anyway? Sharing recipes/meals, fine. Getting advice, better yet. Negative comments... hit the road.

I know it sounds insane but.... one time I ordered my usual, Spicy Tuna. I literally dissected it on the plate and eyeballed as best I could and go from there. If you're going out for sushi... ENJOY IT!!!! I now opt for the hand rolls without rice and I feel like I'm not blowing my diet too bad.
