You sound like my husband queen of hearts. I think I am getting on his nerves lol. He says I am becoming obsessed with all this food stuff lol

So if I am counting my portions I.e 5 a day for fruit and veg, 3 x servings for dairy, carbs one portion per meal what would I count this tin of soup towards ha ha. It's says two of your five a day on the tin but will it also be classed as a portion of carbs. Sorry for the silly questions. I am just trying to get my head…

Thanks guys, a lot of useful tips here. I don't need to cut out salt from my diet, not that I know of but I am at a high risk of heart disease and want to do everyone I can to prevent it x
-
No I don't have to cut out salt but i'me trying to be healthy....not good for the heart and all that lol

No I don't have a reason to watch any of the macros, I just thought that to loose weight with the app we had to follow the guidelines. I.e 50percent carbs, 30 protein and 20 fat
-
My carbs are also over because fruit has got loads of carbs
-
I thought we had to stay within all the percentages

Fab you've made my day lol

I don't understand why you would eat your calories you've just worked hard at burning. I thought you had to eat less cald that's you excercise to loose weight so surely eating them will make you gain weight !

That's great, I don't feel guilty now after eating 25g of nuts. Thanks guys x

Hi janey, thanks for trying to explain it to me. It will sink in eventually ha ha. My pie chart is showing 44 percent carbs, 35 fat and 21 protein but the recommended is 30 percent for fat and 25 for protein so does that not mean I am over

But why is it showing on the pie chart I have no percentage left but on the nutrient chart I still have loads of grams left. Sorry I am probably being really thick but I can't digest it lol
