Hi guys!!! Yeah, I have the 20 minute express DVD but any Zumba workout is fine!!! As long as it's zumba! I chose the 20 minute one because there are so many like me that just don't have time to workout! But there's always time to squeeze in a 20 minute workout just before shower time! Right??? So, don't forget to add…

Absolutely! When you are used to being light and active and just floating about literally, a few extra pounds does weigh you down! it's horrible and very uncomfortable, specially when your clothes don't fit anymore!!! That's the worst part! Much cheaper to lose weight than to have to buy a whole new wardrobe! :D thanks for…

Hey Lanfear! I'm sure you'll get back on track soon, 7lbs is just round the corner, feel free to add me guys! And I know exactly what you mean Dee!!! 60 minutes of Zumba is just too much and it does get repetitive and boring... that's why I thought the 20 minute express was just perfect!!!
-
Thanks for the add guys!!!! I'm sure we will all be splendid by Xmas (hopefully, LOL) HEY! BTW I'm going to try out Zumba 20 minute express here at home starting Saturday if anyone wants to join in, we can share progress and pics! who's in???!!!

I CANNOT BELIEVE IT! Yesterday hubby and me got some mince meat from our local butchers and made some homemade burgers with low fat buns... I ate 2 big juicy ones with lots of veggies and this homemade chimichurri my hubby made, I cannot believe both burgers were under 300cal!!!! BOTH! Can't wait till the MFP recipe…

Welcome ash!!! Thanks for the add!
-
yeah! That's why I love zumba, it's the only workout I like, I love dancing! Any other workout just feels like torture to me... :D
-
Can wait for that MFP recipe database to be available!!! Then we can all share our recipes!!! I had a egg-fried-rice & peas wrap this morning... well, 2 actually, it was very yummy and I'm still super full...!

Hi, doesn't the game show you how many calories you burnt? Maybe I'm confusing it with another game, I have the Your Shape for xbox kinect and that shows me how many calories I've burnt after a workout... Also you may like to try this calculator!!!! Zumba's the very last one on the list!…

1200-1300???!!! only? and you work out 4 times a week and you're active? hmm... I think you may not be eating enough, check your bmr, daily calorie needs, etc again and make sure you include all your activity/workout details correctly... good luck

-

-
I really don't care about studies and whatnot... I weigh myself every day and it seems to help me stay on track...
-
I usually have 2 full eggs (medium) and 2 weightwatchers slices of toast. or a bowl of crunchy nut or special K cereal.. yum... Porridge seems to keep me full too, but i don't enjoy it all the time.

LOL!!!! so true hahaha... anyway... I'm new too, even though I created this profile in March 2011!!! But really started counting calories 2 weeks ago, started off with another Calorie count website but found that this one had a better food database! All the tips on this thread are awesome, I was doing so good for 2 weeks…

-
hey BOB! I'm adding you!

So!! How's everyone doing??? what's for breakfast? I had a yummy small bowl of honey corn flakes with milk and a egg and peas ciabatta sandwich for lunch!!! I'm planning on jumping some rope today and this time doing reps instead of trying to do it impossibly all at once for 15 minutes LOL!
-
absolutely agree with you there, much more frustrating too as staying motivated is harder for the same reason you just mentioned there... and when you say how much you need to lose and how desperate you are people just put you down saying that maybe we are overreacting as "it's not that bad or not that much" :) so…
-
yeah!! LOL! I don't recall saying that it will come off quickly or that I expect it to!!
-
yeah, I keep seeing posts about that INSANITY, I need to check it out, seems hard... :/

Morning guys! You are right Masharitos! measuring rope jumping in minutes is just a let down LOL, my jumprope has an added pedometer so it counts calories burnt, jumps and miles! My exercise is also minimum , it's hard to work out at home if you have kids. But I do walk a lot, I have stairs and I find myself going up and…

me!! I've been trying to lose 20lbs since I gave birth 19 months ago!!! aaarrggg! It's hell! I was completely happy with my weight before I got pregnant 68kg (149.9lbs) , when I started calorie counting (last May 26th - only with another calorie counting website) I was so amazed at how much MORE I actually needed to add to…

NEVER eat less than 1200!!!!! or your body will go on survival/emergency mode and you will not lose any weight at all! Calculate your BMR and don't go under your recommended daily cal intake! Trust me, I didn't believe it at first as instead of being hungry I was full each day and thought NO WAY am I going to lose weight…
