I've had to stop running altogether and I've just had an MRI to see if its a heel spur or not. A heel spur means an operation, but I'm in so much pain I'd rather do that. Seeing a consultant in February (

No fitness tracker without a chest strap is any good. Don't waste your money! I had one that was supposed to measure heart rate via a pulse detector, mostly it detected I was dead! Honestly Polar aren't that expensive and my Garmin has GPS and can show you on a map where I've run, how far, how fast Etc.…

I've just read this, googled Phalarope and am now totally confused!!

Workout DVDs mostly with two or three outdoors run/walks in between. The gym is ok but costly and can be a bit boring. Plus indoors DVD workouts mean you have no excuse not to do them.

Have you tried Les Mills Pump? It's an at home DVD workout which uses great tunes to get you lifting. It's fun, you don't need weights on a bar, you can use dumbbells as I do and the music is cool. It's a great workout that you really feel afterwards.

Yes!!! Absolutely!! Just start at the beginning and keep doing the same day over and over until you can do that one then go on to the next. It's a brilliant programme and can lead to much better things. Please try it!

Have you thought about singing for a living??

OMG!! You look like a model!! Such a difference and such an inspiration!

The Wii Fit was what got me started! Some of the games really do get the heart working and they are fun too. If you are trying to get your other half interested in getting fit, this may well be a good way to start.

What a great post! Thank you!

It's all very well removing the picture/video but now I want to see it!! How is a naked butt shot against the rules? And, actually, it totally doesn't explain the title of the post, unless it's just the photo. Are you so skinny now, that they hate it?

No! :(

Caroline, you know this is doable!! 21 weeks is ages!!! If you knuckle down, seriously, you can lose at least 42lbs!! Thats loads! Mind you though, I only lost 2.5 inches from my hips with a 13lb weight loss, but then again, that means a 39lb loss equates to 7.5 inches so maybe you can do it? I should shut up now, right?…

I really, really want one!! Or more!! Lol!!

I have the same model and love it!! It stays put through everything, even swimming. Just make sure you have the chest strap tight enough and moisten the sensor pads (I like mine! Ewww! ) Lol!! I've had mine for for a few years now and only ever needed one battery for the watch. It was easily bought from Amazon and changed…

I'm 5' 6" 162lbs and 48, I'm getting up to 450 cals on a good day doing T25. They are a really good burn!! Less for the abs workout but still over 250.

I'm interested to know this too, I'm on week 3 of C25K, in training for a Race for Life 5K in May.

This last time, it was because I've had a skirt that has fitted me through thin and fat. It's not elasticated, it's a zip up, it just lies really low on my waist when thin and a bit higher as I put on weight.Well, just before the new year I couldn't do it up and sit down. Oops! Lol!

Have you tried Amazon? That's where I got mine (in the UK)

Amazing!! Well done you!!

Congratulations on even trying to start running. Surely speed shouldn't matter? Especially since you are so new to it. Just keep plodding and eventually you'll get faster and find it easier.

I wish we could enforce these rules on everybody!!

You need to not shout and spell correctly. And how can people lose weight for you? It's your journey, nobody elses.

RunKeeper is free and works for walking, running, skiing, cycling.............You name it, it'll measure it. It has GPS and draws you a pretty map of where you've been. You can connect your music if you want and it will track your walks and goals etc. There is also Mapmywalk, which does all the same things I think. Also…
