I burned 400 calories just 'sitting' here reading all these comments ... Sorry to hear about your circumstances but when you set your goals on MFP it incorporates sitting (Sedentary) into your normal daily activity and it has other settings for people that stand on their feet all day at work, etc and these settings account…

I heard that weighing first thing in the morning is usually overstated. If you must weight in the morning, wait until about 9:30 or 10:30 at the earliest. I never weigh in the morning because I didn't like those results either. I weigh when I get home right before dinner. :wink:

Good morning, all --- Since we're exactly 5 weeks away to Slim Down (6/9), i thought today would be a good day to see if the "you will weigh this much in 5 weeks" analyzer thingamajig is accurate. I never really go by it but said i was gonna try and and see how accurate it is. :huh:

I use to love being sick when i was younger because I would lose weight and keep it off when i got better. Now ... i always just get it back somehow even if i dont over indulge when i recover. Lost 1.6 being sick a day and half last week and got it back :grumble: I like the side effects of the flu diet ... I think I'll try…

Yes, same thing happened to me. I rarely ate breakfast til on diet and could go without eating all day, just ate dinner. But when i ate breakfast i was starving by 11 and my stomach was growling louder than i talked (embarrassing) and wanted to eat everything in site. It is a plus to see metabolism pick up so well.
