Try freezer veggies...or make your own freezer veggies (cut em up, lay em out on a baking sheet and set in freezer until they are somewhat frozen, and then bag em and return to freezer)

I don't know nearly as much as some of the fine people that have posted a reply....but here is what I can tell you. I lost 30 lbs between mar and oct, not a huge lose by any stretch, but I am thrilled with the results I got out considering I didn't put too much in. In Oct I really lose motivation, and I keep trying to talk…

Yes its "possible" but probably not the healthiest of ideas, especially since you are recovering from ED....Its great that you are ready to recommit to weight loss, and I understand the desire to have awesome and quick results, but I would recommend lowering your expectations, and to set a more reasonable goal and/or time…

I personally would not.....but if this is something that you would really consider, make sure that you look into laws and so forth, as you may be required to have a license (in which they come out for an inspection of the property where product will me made and/or stored).

I agree w/ keepingsecret. I would likely trust my polar results over anything else. Don't give up...keep on fighting and make minor adjustments here and there....its all about trial and error!

Just checking....did you make sure that your physical profile matches on all of the equipment that you are comparing? if your weight is heavier in one then the other that could easily skew the results. Also are you stopping the HRM as soon as the work out is completed? I had a tendency of forgetting to stop mine so it…

If I recall correctly, my Dr. recommended adding about 500 cals, if I was exclusively breastfeeding, and not supplementing at all. At the time I was not counting cals, so I would just eat when I felt like it. If you are trying to lose and maintain breastfeeding, I would recommend selecting the lowest weekly loss (.5…

from the main log in page, you have the select "check in" that will allow you to update the site w/ your new weight, and if there was a loss it should automatically update for you.

I might recommend staying away from the scale for a while....if you are SEEING results, and feeling them too, then try ( I say try because I know its hard) to not worry about what the scale says. Live your life for the body you want, not for a number on a scale

I follow a low carb for life "group" on facebook, and enjoy trying some of the recipes they share. Also a fitness group that likes to posts daily motivation tips or workout challenges. I don't have either of them available just yet...but I can share those later. I for the most part like to keep my facebook devoid fitness…

Ha ha...nice!

oh boy....this will get interesting I'm sure....OP a calorie is a calorie, no matter what the cal came from. You CAN eat a donut and earn 300 or so cals and still be hungry or you could have several cups for veggies and come in under 300 and probably be pretty satisfied. As long as you eat at a deficit you will see…

true story, good catch. OP you could stand to gain a few pounds too, I'm sure that's why he "rounded up" although if your really that worried, consider that it would take you over 3 months eating these 30 extra cals to put on a single pound, maybe that will help you relax a little about it

I get screwy numbers like that when I weigh....if the portion says its 2oz but the portion I ate as slightly smaller, when you punch in the ounces it will spit back odd numbers like such. Not sure that's what happened here, but she did say that she weighs things (at times) so that would be my guess

Yikes....I can understand your frustration, but you have to understand that these people are giving you good advise. When we look at your diary and you have "1 mug of tea w/ skim milk)...is that a recipe that you entered? that you control the exact quantity of? while yes I understand that skim milk doesn't really carry a…

<3 you for taking the time to type this all up...I read through the whole program online, and yes understood it, but didn't really know where to start for the weights, or what to do about the deadlifts and barbell rows (with bar needing elevation). Your summary set my mind more at ease! Thanks!!

this it would be really difficult to each that amount of calorie burns on a daily basis. You will burn yourself out especially if you are not eating back at least a portion of the exercise cals

I personally think that since you agreed to help keep her accountable, then you should hold up your end of it. With that said there are definately ways that you can be tactful. Pick out an exercise class at a gym that neither of you have been to, and then ask her come with you for a few classes until you get the hang of…

I occasionally will use a 5 hour energy shot around 4 in the evening....the only real benefit is that it helps me from hitting a slump and giving into fatigue and actually getting to the gym to work out. I can say that the days I use one that I will sometimes get a little light headed when doing certain Zumba moves (I…

while all of these wonderful parents are chiming in with great suggestions.....i have another question people might be able to help with.....how do you get your extremely picky eater to eat fruits and veggies?....or even TRY them?....he started snubbing them when he was around 18 months and hasnt looked back.

I enjoy a nice butt...not in the sense that I check out every passing guys butt.....but I will take notice of a nice one! I think a nice butt is muscular and roundish but not to big....and really i think that the pants help sell a nice butt!

Well when you post in an open forum you are going to get responses that you dont like/appreciate/agree with...its the nature of the beast. The OP indicated that she was aware of other threads addressing this issue, but apparently wanted to rehash it....so this poster gave her some solid links for her to further explore her…

My go to is vodka and diet....but a STRONG word of advice..be cautious how much you drink when mixing with diet, I cant remember the source but experienced first hand that diet soda alters the amount of alcohol your body absorbs or something like that. My first go at it, I got drunk more rapidly then normal and it was more…

I just got screwed over by my best friend, who should have been forced to stay at work, but did some back room shady dealing with another co-worker that caused me to be forced to stay instead. So now instead of getting off at 2pm, I have to stay until 6pm and then get back up and come back to work from 2am - 2pm…

my hero!!

It never occurred to me to look at it this way.....it does make sense, and I bet it would help keep me more accountable. Cool idea, thanks for sharing

That,,,and it doesn't make sense. Noone came off as rude, and I wouldn't judge any of them because they didn't take the time to read the OP. I did take the time to read it, and it was a disorganized mess that I couldn't really follow, so I don't really have an opinion on. The several people who TL;DR the post also gave…

Good lord.....just eat to your calorie goal....log your food as accurately as possible. log your exercise and eat back a portion of your exercise calories too! You will lose weight this way....you don't need to starve yourself, you will make yourself ill, and your 60-80 minute work out sessions 6 days a week WILL suffer!

that's awesome! glad it helped boost your day! and hopefully cheers you up in general!
