Since I am at my goal weight (thank you mfp!! ), my resolution for 2012 is to do more strength training and really carve out some muscles! Also, since I had to practically buy a whole new wardrobe for myself ( !!) I'm gonna try to spend less $$ in 2012!!

For the most important person...ME!! I just got tired of saying "tomorrow I'm gonna start my diet" and the always-fun "I need to lose 10 lbs by vacay"

Once every 2 weeks since I hit my goal weight in October. My weight hasn't changed but my clothes are a tad looser...I'm fluctuating between a size 2 and 4, which is THE BEST NSV EVER!!!

I'm 5' 5" and weigh 120 lbs. I started 3/29/11 weighing 150 lbs. It took me 6 months to lose the weight & I'm maintaining since 10/1/11. I'm VERY happy  where I am!! I work out 5 days a week and will probably always watch what I eat. I'm really disciplined 99% of the time, the other 1% is my problem, but…

I'm at my ideal weight  ...I'm 5' 5", small boned, and weigh 120 lbs. I started out at 150 lbs which felt heavy, and I wanted to lose 10-15 lbs. I'm at my lowest, and in the best shape of my life!! I feel awesome!!

I'm 5' 5", 120 lbs & I wear a size 4. I'm small framed but have long legs, so people always think I'm taller than I am. I have narrow shoulders and small wrists, but carry any extra weight in my midsection. Hope that helps!

I went from an 8-10 to a 4 (sometimes a 2!!) I went from a M-L to an XS-S  I went from a 36C to a 32-34B  The best NSV...my skinny 18 yr old wanted to borrow a t-shirt of mine. She came into my room looking like a stuffed sausage ( ) & said "do you have one that's not a toddler size?!!

I would tell you to make sure you're getting in your 10,000 steps. You should also be walking fast enough to be slightly out of breath and not able to carry on a conversation. Good luck!

Take a tour of each of them, and ask to try it for a few days. Alot of gyms will give you a pass to try for up to a week (mine gives you a 2 week "buddy pass" if you bring in an unwrapped Xmas gift) That way, you can see what amenities are most appealing to you. When I first joined mine I was thrilled with the fact that…

Ouch!! Sounds painful, but it'll heal. In the meantime, try other machines like elliptical , gazelle, rowing, or try a spinning class. Also, you can do strength training. I broke my foot last summer & was in a cast shoe,so no cardio machines were allowed,so I walked ALOT & did strength training. Good luck!!

Add me!! I'm a great cheerleader!!

I agree that it's up to you, personally I weighed myself weekly until I hit my goal weight, now I weigh in every 2 weeks, just to keep myself in check.

I am fit and fabulous!! I've worked very hard to get that way, and I too love health and fitness. I've lost 30 lbs since March, all through eating right and working out. I'd love to talk food & fitness...friend me!!

The best way to do this maintainance is to play with calories. Start with 1200/day & go from there. Also, really up your workouts; this will give you a little more "wiggle room" calorie-wise. That's what I'm doing! Good luck & Happy Holidays!! Friend me if you'd like a buddy!

I've lost 30 lbs since joining in March, it took me 6 months to lose it and I've been maintaining it for about 6-8 weeks. I eat healthy and I do exercise 5 days/week. I find for me that exercising has multiple benefits...it's great for you mentally and physically, I've gotten stronger and (finally  ) lost my…

If you have a mall nearby, walk there. Or use the stairs (in your house or work place & walk or run up & down them! You can also do modified sit-ups and push-ups on the stairs! Hope this helps!

I agree with everyone! Exercise is the best way to de-stress, but a glass of wine now & then won't hurt...just drink at least a glass of water with it to dilute it & flush it out of your system.

I work out 5-6 days a week...I also work a FULL time job (retail manager, 60+ hours/wk), have a husband, 2 teenagers, and a mother in a nursing home!! Needless to say, I use my crazy life as a reason TO exercise...I like to quote Elle Woods from Legally Blonde..."Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy.…
