That is the plan, I don't have a farm so I will do the best I can.

It is amazing that we are on a website designed to get healthy, and there are forums to help one another with this but all that the forum discussion ever seem to lead to are jabs at one another. Every person approaches their nutrition and fitness in their own way, simply move along if this is not the way for you rather…

That answer is for carbs in general, not just grain.
-
The whole grain part is what I am researching now, still learning. I personally will probably stick to quinoa, oatmeal, sweet potato, and am looking into how "clean" brown and black rice are. I am seeing that buckwheat, barley, and wild rice are ok also but am not sure on any of these details yet.

I apologize if that is how it sounded, I most certainly do not judge marathon runners. Anyone who is able to complete a marathon should be very very proud. Marathons were simply my example of the box people have put me in. I do think intensive running, especially if not trained for it, is hard on the body and wonder why…

Since it is on my arm will it think I am taking a step every time I lift my arm.. to drink water, scratch my face, pick something up... etc.

I have finished L1D7 so far, taken 4 rest days due to busy scheduling. I am actually hoping to do L1D8&9 this afternoon. If I had more time Saturday afternoon I was warmed up and ready to do a second workout so I am hoping for that energy and motivation again today. I do not have a set date that I hope to finish, goal is 4…

You can rock level 2!! I think out of the 3 levels it is the hardest but showed the best results at the same time. I am falling behind :( so far I have finished L1D5, took 1 rest day and have had 2 days with conflicts. I am hoping I can squeeze one in tonight after sending my boyfriend off to the airport.. we shall see :)…

When I did this last year I found a formula through I think the Jillian Michaels website to calculate calories burned but I can not find it anymore. When I followed the formula I got 217 calories burned per workout and my stats to come to that were: 28 year old female, 5'5", 135 pounds. A lot of people in my group last…

I am NO expert but have been where you are and have had lots of friends who are where you are so can speak from experience as well as the advise and research that came out of me sorting through everything. Unless you are tiny or not doing any form of exercise 1200 calories is really to few, even if MFP suggests it. The…

I am so glad you fought the 3 day weekend and won.... i lost that battle haha so will being doing L1D4 tonight after 3 days off.
-
Thanks for jumping in :) 1 hour till I take Jillian on for the 3rd day :) I think I will have to try the Killer Buns & Thighs next if it works well for you, my boyfriend is a butt guy and I neglect that workout area... TMI??? haha

I think rest days are really important so I always rest 1 day minimum, usually Saturdays. My plan due to a wedding eekkk... is to finish 30 day shred in 36 days, 2 rest days per level but we will see. I totally listen to my body and do as it says day by day. Once wedding season is over I want to do 30 day shred maybe 3-4…

Mixing it up will be great! The whole point is to keep moving for 30 minutes without rest. I love 30 day shred but by day 8 of each level I do start to get REALLY bored so switching around would help that. It may take longer to tone specific zones but you will get a well rounded healthy workout :)

i find a 30 year old woman who has had 2 children but maintained or got back in shape MUCH more impressive then a 40 year old man who is in shape. no offense but this general comment is quite small minded and frankly insulting, we should all support and encourage health due to all the various road blocks we each face…

10 days in a row does get boring!! I really struggled with that on level 2, but loved level 3.. i know, weird! Your doing great, and I am so glad you are still posting!!!! Today was L3D10 for me, sooo proud that I finished this without dying haha :) Before/After pics to post soon!
-
I find level 3 easier then level 2, and I have read many other people say the same thing. Level 2 was REALLY hard for me but Level 3 has flown by and I feel good after it! Great job for pushing through and good luck!!!

30DS L2D6 finished this morning!!! I am SO excited to take my after measurements, not so much pictures lol because while I feel slimmer and more toned I still have those pesky curves in the wrong places...spandex pants don't help haha!! great job everyone who has finished and those who have been keeping with it through the…

still here to!!! although after all the rich food over the weekend i feel much behind haha. I will be doing D4L3 tomorrow. my brother in law got a personal trainer right around when i started 30ds and i enjoyed showing off the very slight sign of abs that are developing!!!! i am so excited to get back into healthy eating…

Sayonara Level 2.... I will NOT be missing you :) I begin level 3 tomorrow and am soo nervous!! Something in level 2 has been making my lower back ache, if it's the planks then level 3 should be interesting. I have been averaging 2-3 days working out then 1 rest day and it really works well. The weeks like this when I am…

100% with you, starting the walkout push ups this morning i really did not want to continue because i am board of it. i more day then we enter the final stretch :) 11 more days.. we got this!!!!

L2 D8 done this morning :) I SOO envy those of you who are closing in on day 30!! I take every Saturday off and have taken rest days here and there so I will be finishing April 10th. I really have a dislike for level 2 haha, I am very excited to put that in my past (well until I start 30DS again later). Even though I do…

Berkeley, CA here :) Cali Love! While all my friends from the east coast send pics of the snow I am enjoying being out on the bay and long walks in the sunshine

This is my plan to! I will not be starting till around April 12th, but being behind is even better motivation to try and catch/keep up :) Do you girls want to start a new group?
-
i am so impressed that you girls are able to do this without rest days, i am giving myself a rest day about every 2.5 day give or take on how i feel. L2D5 done :) celebrating my half way point this morning! are you all starting to see results as you close in on 30DS??
-
i would say this is quite accurate :)

i think i am living the world record of weight loss plateau!!! i lost 15 lbs at a healthy and consistent pace then stopped 100%. it has been about 6 months and i have been fluctuating back and forth 2lbs up and down. I only have 10 more lbs to go so i am moving to less cardio and more weights to see if that helps. i have…
