Not quite. I'm 164 now, goal of 137. When I get there I'll re-evaluate to see if I need to go lower

Lookin' great!

Wow kudos to you. Awesome loss. I'm on 1200 a day as well, and eat back some exercise calories most days

I started at 224 lbs. down 59 so far. Lost the first 40 by eating less and walking. I then joined the gym and started weight training. The losses slowed after that, but I look and feel so much better for it. It hasn't been easy to lose, but I am 40 years old so it is harder to lose now then when I was younger.

The one I've liked up to now, with the best protein to calorie ratio is body fortress. Sold at Walmart. 30g protein for 130 calories. I'm curious now about the BioX Power Whey listed in a thread above. Going to have to find that one to try.

As someone else said, a lot of the gains people have are hidden under clothes. Unless I pull up my sleeves and flex for you, you'll never see that i've actually developed some baby muscles since joining the gym :) As others said though, it can be for health reasons. And for those that are working out to improve their…

Just wanted to post an update to this thread, and say thank you again to all who posted and offered advice. While it's only been one week, I tried calorie cycling as suggested by @besee_2000 . I also ensured I weighed everything and tracked everything that I ate. While my tracking had been good, I realized a few small…

I'm a mom of 3. Have lost 59 lbs so far, another 25-30 to go. Feel free to add me.

I've had 3 c-sections, with very big babies. My stomach stretched a lot and I now have a large apron. While I'm working out and toning mostly everything else, there isn't much change in my tummy. I've come to grips with the fact I'll need surgery for it to be "normal" again.

She's lean, not bulky. Would love to have arms like that.

Start with the basics again. Weigh everything that isn't a liquid. If you are eating sodium-rich foods, drink lots of water. Eat back some of your exercise calories (not all if you are using the MFP counts, as they are too high, eat back about half)

There is so much you can do at home that I wouldn't worry about joining a gym if it is going to make your finances tight. Youtube has awesome videos, and there are things you can use around the house as accessories to boost your exercises (use a step stool as a stepper, etc).

<-- Started in Feb of 2014, down 59 lbs at this point. Another 28 lbs to get in the healthy weight ranege, and will re-evaluate how I feel/look at that point.

Is there a gym/fitness center in the hotel? If so, use it in the morning, as you don't start till 10. Or use that time to go for a walk around the neighborhood.

The scale may not show the same rate of losses as with just doing cardio, but weight lifting is so worth it. The number on the scale isn't as important as being fit and looking good :)
-
Do both. I absolutely love lifting.

I'm 5'1. Not a success story yet, still a work in progress :) Starting weight in Feb/14 was 224, after 3 pregnancies/3 c-sections. Down 57 lbs at this point. Still 30ish to go. <-- starting and current pics

Tie between arms and abs :)

Ten years ago, after having my first child, I put in a tonne of effort to lose my extra weight. Lost 60 lbs and went down to 135. Felt great about myself. Got pregnant a few years later with baby number 2, gained a bunch of weight back, and stopped caring and kept gaining. Two years ago, had baby #3, and afterwards…

You all look amazing!

You look amazing, Congratulations!

If that's the only thing he's done, I don't think he's a perv. But he is disrespectful. Especially if you asked him to stop, and he did it again. Would you be more comfortable with a female trainer?

I'm going to be blunt, you just have to want it bad enough, and work hard to make it happen. Most of us on here have very similar lives to yours. I'm a mom of 3 young kids, and work full time. I fit in going to the gym after my kids go to bed, or over my lunch break at work. I take my kids for walks or go on bike rides…

Awesome post, great information!

Here's mine. Started at 224 lbs in Feb/14. The yellow circle shows a plateau i've been battling since December. I've lost only 5 lbs since then.

That's awesome! Congratulations!

Congratulations on such an amazing weight loss, and the dedication to stick to it. You look absolutely amazing!

That sitting for any length of time now hurts, because there isn't as much padding there. Saving your armpits is much more difficult, because there's more gap and the razor doesn't fit properly so you can't shave as closely. How good it feels to walk past the plus sized section in stores because you need to buy regular…

Wow, you look amazing! Great job.
