Keep doing strong lifts, if it's working for you don't base changes on unsolicited advice.

Many people seem to think they have a right to comment on others bodies, looks, etc. You have to be happy with yourself and ignore everyone else. Are you happy with how you look? Is your doctor satisfied with the weight you are now? If yes to both, then you have to ignore others and outright state "I'm happy with how I…

Hi, I'm a single mom with 3 kids, work full time in the software industry. I workout 6 days a week. Feel free to add me.

I've had that happen many times, I always say the same thing. "I'm not on a diet, this has to be something I can sustain for life. I'm not going to give up (insert food) for the rest of my life, so I make my favourite foods fit into my weight loss and fitness plans"

Latest research shows that it doesn't matter when you ingest it, it can be all one big meal or spread out over the day.

Just eewww!!!

If it works for you use it!! It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Sure I dislike the elliptical but I dislike all cardio machines equally

See a physiotherapist or physical therapist for a second opinion. In the meantime try encorporating some different techniques like these http://www.muscleandfitness.com/workouts/legs-exercises/17-minute-quads

You need to find something you really enjoy, then you'll look forward to it instead of dreading it

Eating in that range, you are losing so much muscle, not only fat. Please consider eating at a more healthy range.

Hello from Kitchener Ontario. Feel free to add me

I started with just body weight until I had form down perfectly, then I switched to the squat rack and empty bar, and gradually worked my way up from there. How many sets and reps are you doing?
-
This is freaking awesome btw!!

Agree with above, eat protein before bed.

many of us started out "fat" at the gym (see me below), I was 224 lbs when I started. I also hated it and felt so out of place, but then I realized that everyone is focused on their own workouts, and while might look at you, aren't judging you. Bite the bullet, put in your headphones, and get the workout done. Ignore…

This is a very stressful time in your life, try not to worry to much about your weight and eating right now. Focus on your emotional and mental health and in a few months as things settle down, you will be ready to focus on the physical. I was in a similar situation last year, my ex and I separated, I was left with…

I cook on Sunday's my lunches for the week, so I just grab and go. stirfry, chicken breasts, pork chops etc, and add rice, salad, veggies to it.
-
Congrats!

The one I use is 150 cals for 35 G protein, which isn't bad. A scoop in my breakfast yogurt and a protein shake gives me 70 G protein for 300 cals
-
You need more protein. I'm a 135ish lb female and I aim for 130-150 g of protein. Get enough protein first then consider adding supplements

The DOMS are perfectly normal after an intense training session. That will go away after a few days, but I can't say I'm impressed with the trainer starting you on weighted squats if you haven't done them before.
-
Learn how to do them perfectly with bodyweight only, then add weight after that. If you are just starting them, you shouldn't be adding additional weight

OHP for sure, can't make any progress on it at all.
