Sure I'll try it. Not sure if I can do those 90 or 120 days, but I'll try :)

I don't track anything beyond actual exercise. I figure that it's part of my daily routine, not exercise

When I first started lifting, the first week I saw a couple pounds gained. After that I had 5-6 weeks of plateau, the scale never moved at all, even though I was working out 4-5 times a week and eating within my calories. After that adjustment period, the weight seemed to start falling off. Every week I had a loss. I'm now…

Congrats on your baby. I've had 3 pregnancies (with big babies), and 3 c-sections, I now carry all my weight on my stomach. I'm still struggling to get the weight off after my last pregnancy, 21 months ago. Good luck with getting the baby weight off...but remember to enjoy the time with your baby. Maybe incorporate…

Kudos on taking the first step. If I could offer any advice, it would be to take it day by day, and to not quit if you have a bad day or bad week. Just get back at it again as soon as possible. Also, don't expect to lose all the weight immediately, and then be down on yourself if you aren't losing as fast as you'd like.…

As much as I'd love to say something romantic, instead we'll be at our oldest sons hockey tournament - so a weekend traveling from arena to arena and in a hotel room with our 3 kids.

Wow, amazing. Congratulations!

Just because people use MFP doesn't mean they are trying to lose weight. I know several people who are extremely fit who use it to track their activity and offer advice, it has nothing to do with wanting to lose weight. And also it isn't fair to judge others on how you perceive their weight. What you feel is "skinny" might…

I switched from WW to MFP. I had gotten really frustrated in the points system. I used to understand it a few years ago, but with the most recent changes and the way the points are calculated now, just didn't make sense to me any longer. I quit following WW and started using MFP exclusively a few months ago.

Kudos! Great loss.

Wow, congratulations! You look great.

Looking at your pictures, you are definitely not eating enough. I would strongly advise you to seek professional help, and not try to lose another 12 lbs.

You should add healthy snacks between your meals, and drink water as well during the day. Your body is hungry, you need to fuel it...just not with cake (well some cake is ok, just not two slices at once :))

My DH is overweight, but isn't trying to lose weight, and continues to eat his regular junk food/treats. I don't bother him about it. This is my journey, not his. I buy his treats when I shop and I buy separate healthier versions for myself (or whomever wants them). I cook healthier meals, that he is forced to eat (as he…

I say the exact pounds. I look at it this way, I was quite overweight, it wasn't secret, people could see how big I was. I've worked hard to lose the weight I have. If people want to know how much I've lost, I tell them. I still have a ways to go, and use the interest in my journey as motivation to continue trying.

I'm not a fan either. Have to scroll way to much to get to all the posts. I'd rather have to expand those posts that interest me then be forced to scroll through pages of replies to posts.

Welcome to MFP. This is a great site, lots of very helpful people on here. Feel free to add me. I'm a 40 year old mom to 3 young kids. Started out at 224 lbs, 175 now. When all is said and done, should be a 85-90 lb loss for me when I hit my goal weight (eventually) :)
